3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very mild roasted grainaroma with almost no coffee to speak of. Esters low at best and very little hop aroma. Overall this beer really lacks in aroma all together.Closer to medium brown than black and somewhat thick.Started off with a 1.5 inch head that lasted about 3 minutes, then finished to an 1/8 inch. Sweet yes, all be it closer to heavy versus medium. Definite oat with dark roasted grain along with a nutty flavor that compliments well. Diacetyl level closer to medium high with toffee flvor and slickness that does not take away from the beer. Very little hop flavoer if any. Full body, very smooth and creamy. Very sweet upfront, oats and slight toffee taste. It finishes dry and clean with a wonderful aftertaste. I drank this close to room tempature and the carbonation was medium.I feel that for the most part this beer fits its style catagory closely and it makes for a great beer. I will drink it again for sure and foer many reasons. It tastes amazing, low in alchohol for the flavor and very drinkable. This could be a session beer for a regular RIS drinker.

Botella. Color negro opaco.
No demasiada espuma pero mantiene una fina capa.
Magnífico aroma: frutos rojos, mermelada, chocolate blanco, vainilla...
En boca resulta bastante seca con notas a frutos rojos.
Mucho cuerpo y deja un amargor notable.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black with beige foam. The smell has a lot of licorice and is a bit boozy in the nose. The taste is a little boozy as well. Sweet with surprisingly little coffee with a little more chocolate. Not too strong in alcohol content. Nice beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice black color with inch thick tan head and red highlight. Aroma is roasted malt, a bit sweet prunes. Taste is dry, roasty, a bit fruity. Silky mouthfeel. Overall quite nice, not too heavy, but the malts are extreme. Well-priced.

Negra opaca. Escasa espuma ocre. Fuerte aroma a madera, café y ligeramente a hierbabuena. Mucho cuerpo y textura cremosa, con carbonatacion media. Muy sabrosa, mezclando tabaco, caramelo, café.. Final entre dulce y amargo. Excelente.

Pours nice and black with dense tan head. The mouth feel is awesome, creamy and viscous. But the flavour is overpowered by the malt. Just too much to let and other flavours come through.
