4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 degbert (810) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 12, 2011Bottle. Pours a dark brown-black with a high, pillowy, light brown head. The nose is all dark fruit -- smells like a date bar, and I mean that in a good way. Flavor is rich and sweet, with molasses, PX sherry, and coffee overtones; finishes cleanly and sets you up for another drink. This beer is proof of something good in the universe.
4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 20/20 Pith (122) - New York, USA - JUN 17, 2013
pours opaque black with large tan foam head. Aroma-coffee malts with alcohol smoothness. HInt of spiciness and caramel. Carbonation, caramel, coffee. The beginning is uncomplicated but is made up for my a smooth as milk caramel middle with gentle non-bitter coffee end that is so smooth, maybe some maple. The most drinkable stout I’ve ever had.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 wimpyjoe (1748) - Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUN 17, 2013
Black with a thick frothy head, no distinctive roasted flavours but it has a stout base although not the best tasting.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Hopsclation (26) - Chicago, - JUN 14, 2013
So good, so cheap! This might be the best "bang for buck" beer that you can find in most liquor stores. Tastes like 2/3 banana nut bread 1/3 vanilla ice cream. If you havent had it yet, not sure what you have been doing with your beer life, but stop passing it by and get some.
4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 finn1918 (152) - Georgia, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Pours inky black with a 3 finger fluffy brown head that settles to a nice ring. Aroma is toasted malts and subtle English-style hops. Taste is chocolate, some coffee, toast, and oats--pretty standard for a stout but done exceptionally well. Smooth, silky mouthfeel with just a touch of carbonation. This is an excellent, sessionable stout that is well worth the money. For $3.50 a 550ml bottle, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal.

4.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 phillybass (26) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2013
A very drinkable stout. Quite smooth and balanced. Easily quaffable and actually quite refreshing. Barely any aroma to speak of which is normal for this type of beer. Flavors are roasted malt predominately with hints Of chocolate. Body is not as full as other oatmeal stouts.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 Niall73 (100) - - JUN 5, 2013
bottle, pours very dark brown (pretty lively!) with reddish tinge and a fluffy off white head. Aroma is malt, dark fruits, dark rum, some treacle, a little minerally. Full and foamy in the mouth, a bit lighter than expected. Flavour is maltiness, more dark dried fruits, dark sugars. It’s sweet, slightly bitter, very moreish, and very drinkable!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Beerandhockey8 (26) - Three Forks, Montana, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Poured from 22oz bottle to shaker. Pours a nice dark brown almost black color with a light tan head. Ivan smell coffee and caramel notes, and the taste is exactly how it smells. Very smooth finish, great beer.

Wonderful full bodied stout. This is the pinnacle of outmeal stouts. This beer has a silky smooth texture with a clean bittersweet finish. This was one of my first dark beers as a youngster and really gave way to my appreciation of good dark beers. I thank you Sam Smith
