UPDATED: JUL 31, 2013 Had at the brewery tap Angel and White Horse (brewery tap in Tadcaster). From their own-made wooden barrel. The aroma and flavors are essential beer, beer in its prototype, worty and luscious, clean, woody, and sexy. Why and how its ratings so low I do not understand! Update: had it in Durham. The beer is just as fab but not as fresh as the brewery. So do yourself a favor and drink this from the font--itís truly an amazing experience sitting out there with the horses and all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light golden brown, good white head that leaves lacing, smooth, clear but doesnt taste of a lot at least to me. My folks said it was good and they drink it often. Its natural and reliable possibly even organic. On tap at the gazebo Kingston.

Dark amber color, medium white creamy head. Aroma of caramel, malt, wood, herbs, nuts. Taste has similar notes, dry sweet with mildly bitter hoppy finish. Thin to medium body and soft carbonation. Nice bitter.

Clear amber beer, low carbonation, with a small, foamy, off-white head. Refreshingly light-medium bodied. Simple, yet pleasant caramel malts, with a touch of apple and herbs, and a mild, citrus hop. Simple, but well balanced, and very drinkable.

Handpumped @ Ye Olde Cheschire Cheese (Greater London). Slightly hazy amber with a medium mostly lasting beige head and good lacing. Aroma is of caramel, mineral presence and fruity notes, but thereís a little something off that I canít recognize. Taste is also of caramel, fruity notes and mineral presence with a very light bitterness along with, again, something off that I canít recognize. Itís really subtle, but it doesnít take much to hinder low abv beer like a Bitter. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Easily drinkable and tasty, but far from the best Bitter because thereís a little something off and itís also a tad bland.

Cask. Looks copper, with a one finger white head. It took a long time to settle. Aromas of bitter hops, toffee and caramel. Taste- quite thin-bodied, lots of bitterness, a fair amount of caramel going on.Solid bitter.

Cask in the Anchor Inn, Guisborough. Amber with a creamy white head. Served over cold, so hard to get too much flavour. Fairly fruity. Some biscuit notes on the finish. Thereís a little sweetness too. Below par.
