(Bottled, BB 01/2009). Clear amber color, small off-white head. Toffee-nutty aroma. A bit sweetish malty, nutty hoppy flavor. Dry aftertaste. A bit lifeless.

Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pours a beautiful red with an orange glow. Not much aroma, just a fresh scent. Taste was very light and smooth, very refreshing. Very good drinking beer.

Darkish amber pour, frothy white head. Smell is hoppy, malty, sour. Taste malty, banana, sweet, tastes like a darker beer than it looks, bitter finish. Pretty good.

Poured with a nice head and a bit of lace. Clear dark amber color. Malty hoppy aroma. Great flavor with very interesting English hops going on. Plenty of malt to balance. Excellent beer. Decent finish. Easy session beer.

550ml bottle, gold foil. Red amber color. creamy off-white head. Classic aroma of an English Pale Ale. It just smells like beer. Aromas of caramel and bread. Slight wood hop aroma. Flavor is a huge caramel malt, bread and some light hop bitterness. Medium bodied. This bottle has the slightest metallic flavors in the finish, might be from some of the beer coming in contact with the foil. Perfect balance. great representation of style. Cheers!

Bottle-light brown color w/a moderate head. Slight malt aroma. Flavors of malt & biscuit dough, w/a touch of cane sugar, toffee, & caramel. Smooth easy drinking sesson brew, nothing too complicated, just knock it back & enjoy it. Seems to be what Sam Smith does best, Another solid effort from this brewer.
