changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 9, 2008 Updated: Jul 30, 2008Pretty good beer, but not quite up to their usual level. The color is a little darker than most Pale Ales I’ve tried. It does have a nice foamy tan head and a lot of lace on the glass. The aroma is mild. Not as hoppy as other Pale Ales. I get some malt and spices in the flavor with a hoppy finish accompanied with a shot of sour fruits. Decent. mugabe (215), Sweden Apr 9, 2008 Bottle. Golden copper, thick head. Faint malt aroma. Fruity caramel flavour. Somewhat watery, weak finish. zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA Apr 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber, off white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, pine, port. Flavor is the same with a malty and bitter finish. On the bread side and sweet. Decent and well blended; I feel like this sets a respectable pace for ESBs. PattyBoy (302), North Liberty, Iowa, USA Apr 4, 2008 Pours amber, thick head. Flavor is sweet, malty, fruit, earthy. Hops are light. Very average. gator2683 (133), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Apr 4, 2008 arima is faint, sweet malt and apples. taste is a little bland but a good level of malt. its pretty dry, and it leaves a little tingle on the top of your tongue. very easy to drink daknole (2805), Plantation, Florida, USA Apr 2, 2008 Very good pale ale.
