Aroma is a metallic hop scent. Color is a clear amber with good carbonation and a some what loose head that stays low. Taste is light and crisp. Starting with a light body it goes down crisp with a mild malt flavor that has just a faint sweet caramel taste to it. Finish rolls in with a nice bitterness and a very faint hop flavor, then leaves you with a slight metallic aftertaste. Overall it very drinkable but not very hoppy.

Very frothy on the pour. Mild wood untertones in the aroma. The beer is dark copper with a tan head. Its a little runny, but has a good full flavor of barley malt.

Copper. Citrus, caramel malts, and slight herbal notes. Citrus and fruity hops, caramel malts, some sweetness, and biscuits. Nice soft ESB, could easily session this.

Pours a murkey caramel color with a large off white head, no bubbles. Somewhat of an aluminum aroma, caramel, honey and something a little spicey. Lots of caramel in the flavor, fruity. Slightly nutty, bitter, metallic finish. Body is disappointing... no carbonation. it actually kind of tastes like a Boddingtons!

Biggish offwhite shiny lasting head. Dark reddish brown body with carbonation. Faint resiny honeyish aroma. Dry-and-sweet roasty wooden metallic resiny floral taste. Harmonic and balanced. Dry wooden toffee and malt aftertaste with smoky notes. Excellent. Great session beer. (0.5l bottle at Cittie of Yorke.)

(Bottle, Cittie of York, Holborn, London, 28 Nov 2007) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, apricots and rubbery hops. Fruity taste with a solid malt base, notes of dried fruit, dried apricots and dusty hops. Nicely balanced, classic pale ale.
