550 ml bottle. pours black tea coloured with a small white head. malty aromas of sweet caramel and traceable hops. flavours are thin malt with tiny hop roundness. a well put together palatable beer but nothing special and i wont buy it again unless in a pinch. it doesnt help that i had my homebrewed EPA right after and mine blew this one away.

This is a great, tasty and satisfying ale. It is deep amber with a thick, big, dense, light tan head that lasts and leaves some lacing. The aroma is fairly strong malt, dust, dry leaves, somewhat musty, with piney hops. The taste is moderately rich, earthy malt, a hint of sourness, excellent sweet-bitter balance with a nice long mixed grain/malt and slightly bitter hop finish.

50 cl. bottle. Pours a clear copper color with an off white head. Has an herbal, spicy , grainy smell. Medium bodied and softly carbonated. Earthy, woody, toasted grain flavor. Finishes slightly bitter. A decent English pale ale. Dec 2004

Appearance: Mahogany reddish brown with a light tan head. Aroma: Big grainy nose with notes of honey and molasses toasted bread and butterscotch. Flavour: Strong attack with lots of warm fruit esters (plums and raisins.) Very grainy and biscuity. Finishes bittersweet with strong grassy English hop flavour. Low bitterness. Hazelnuts toffee and diacetyl butterscotch. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, chewy and fluffy. Overall: A rich estery beer with lots of toasted notes and warm fruit esters, plums pears and raisins. Bittersweet finish with sweetness coming from diacetyl.
