Bottle: Pastuerised
Captures the soul of beer. It has a maltiness that reminds you that beer is a product of the soil. Balance of malt and hops.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours clear bronze with an off-white head. Aroma of hops and caramel malts. carbonated, bitter, metallic finish. I didn’t like this, i don’t care for bitter beers.

Amber with a white head. The aroma is sweet and malty. Plenty of citrus and other fruits in the taste along with the malt, and a medium bitterness.

An average pint of beer. I can’t imagine drinking this one more than a few times. Maybe not even that often. It had little to distinguish itself from the common place American beers. Ouch. The caramel flavor was just overly present from beginning to end. Go elsewhere for a beer you’ll truly enjoy.

550ml bottle. Pours w/o head. Nice Brown/amber color w/ a few rising bubbles. Aroma is a bit buttery, but also shows some hoppy character. Moderately interesting but for that butter...drinks with a watery finish. Flavors are biscuits, toast, earth, peppercorns...butter aroma seems to dominate more as I drink. has a somewhat bitter and mineral laden finish, which is enjoyable...some yeasty fruitiness emerges on the palate as well...overall, just a bit boring, I wonder, if this captures the soul of beer, what the hell does it do with that soul?

22 oz. bottle. This has an okay aroma and appearance, and I thought it tasted good. Unfortunately, it seemed to have a sour, slightly metallic finish that really did not leave me wanting more anytime soon.

550ml bottle. Clear and ruby hue. Thick off-white head. Fruit and cotton candy and bread from the heady nose. More syrupy and molasses notes permeate as the head deminishes. Also a ginger and spicy nose. Initial is sweet and smooth, with a deep malt character. then the dryness hits you like a ton of bricks. The hops are long, lingering and bitter. I want to say that the brew is balanced, but the bitterness cuts through everything and lasts the longest. Hops are piney and fruity sweet. Second glass, more musty and grainy nose. Malt character and alcohol presence is more abundant as the beverage warms to a more condusive temperature. Hops mellow from dominant bitterness to warming smooth finish. Solid beer from a solid brewery. Nice and dry, but with an apparent fruitiness and malt character.
