Name changed from Old Brewery Pale Ale to Organic Pale Ale in 2011.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, yeast, hops.
Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create a full, rounded flavour and after-taste.
Best served at about 51°F (11°C).

Very well rounded beer. Nice mix of maltiness and well rounded hop character.

Reddish amber with offwhite head. Smells of fresh bread, tastes bready, very malty, but dry malts, nothing too sweet. Medium bodied, rich flavour and texture, grains, and a good balance of hop bitterness in the end. Good complex flavour, very nice one tastes like a classic to me.

Pour is a suprsiingly red shade of amber with a large off-white head. Aroma is faint, mostly just old beer. Flavor is mainly dough and honey, but some fruity yeast products are there as well. Smooth and frothy mouthfeel. Good trad English beer.

Nice bread, malty aroma with hint of dried fruit., Attractive dark copper/amber pour. Taste was disappointing, strong and lack complexity. Just very beery with few other flavours.

Bold sweet dark fruit aroma. Dark ruby colored body with a strong one in head that fades to a light coating. Smooth malt taste with a light fruit sweetness. Some bitterness in the back of the palate. Finishes on the dry side with a malt background.

Bottle @ home. Pours with a glowing clear orange colour, medium rocky white head. Aroma is medium malty, with notes of bread, and slightly tomedium hoppy, with notes of herbs. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, quite intense and well-balanced. Medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, medium lasting malty finish. Very good session beer.

Dark amber, ivory head. Attractive aromas of pears simmered in red wine, wheat flour, milk chocolate and raisins. Low carb. Flat and short-lived. Low bitterness. Taste isn’t so attractive.

Pours a dark copper with an off white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is strong malt, slight raisin and maybe slight bread. Flavour is upfront malty plums with a slight warm bitter finish. Not really in the true style of a pale ale in my opinion.

Sehr angenehmer Malzduft mit leichten Aromen nach Zuckerrübensirup. Im Geschmack dann vordergründig viel Karamell, leider im Nachgeschmack irgendwie zu bitter.
