Name changed from Old Brewery Pale Ale to Organic Pale Ale in 2011.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, yeast, hops.
Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create a full, rounded flavour and after-taste.
Best served at about 51°F (11°C).

An amber beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is light with notes of the nice maltblend. The flavor is flat but of a good maltblend and slightly bitter - a fine flavor. Clearly above an average beer - but not a super beer.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2005 (Bottle 55 cl) Beautiful amber beer with a dense head. Dominated by nutty, caramelish malt, but dry - never sweet. A very pleasant and quaffable brew. 290900

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2008 Bottled (thanks sayravai). Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is plummy malty and a bit spicy. Flavour is spicy, plummy and wellbalanced. Very ’’’’vintage’’’’ feeling over it. Nice for it’s style though.

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is hops, wood and some vegetables. Flavour is the same along with some slight licoriceish notes. 6 3 7 3 13.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatn, Stockholm. Clear brownish amber, average head. Crisp cracker-like malt covered in a thin layer of syrup. There’s hay and caramel and ligh salty bitterness. It’s very drinkable, and I can still see why I liked this beer so much 15 years ago - although these days there are much better beers available.

Clear deep amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Sweetish malt, creamy. Trace of sweet ester. Mild minerals. Reasonable balancing hop bitterness but no hop fruits. Finishes smooth. Drinkable.

Amber color. Some maltiness in the nose and the taste but not enough to make of it a great beer…
