Name changed from Old Brewery Pale Ale to Organic Pale Ale in 2011.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, yeast, hops.
Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create a full, rounded flavour and after-taste.
Best served at about 51°F (11°C).

Here we have a well rounded ESB. Lots of nice malt going on here, tastes almost like a Wee Heavy due to the malt presence. Despite, the hops balance out provide a refreshing bitterness.

0.55 bottle. Clear, light brown color and a small, white head. Delicate aroma of caramel, English malts, and some bread. Taste is sweet, composed of caramel and malts, on top of that some dough and delicate bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, and lively carbonation. Finish is somewhat off balance with astringent tones appearing with time. Overall a standard, English bitter with hundreds like it.

Bottle pour. Pours a copper color with a lasting foam head. Super malty aroma with subtle hops. Overpowering super sweet malt flavor. Not well balanced but not bad either. Fresh tasting beer. Pretty good.

Crockett (1017) - Southampton,Ontario, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 9, 2015
Pours orange amber with a medium foamy off white lacing head. Slight musty nose of cereal, light sweet apple, mild yeast, and modest hops. Traces of butter tart. Rich and malty for the style. Bready malts, earth. Carbonation is very smooth and attractive Background maple syrup/brown sugar. Hops are quite tame even by British standards. Slight citrus peel in the finish. Nice beer. The label is beautiful.

Pours a beautiful clear coppery amber, with medium off-white head that reduces but persists. Aroma is malty, roasty, earthy. Taste follows suit with nuts, dough and a hint of caramel, leading to sweet-sour finish. A cut above the average pale ale without being exceptional.
