Name changed from Old Brewery Pale Ale to Organic Pale Ale in 2011.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, yeast, hops.
Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create a full, rounded flavour and after-taste.
Best served at about 51°F (11°C).

Here we have a well rounded ESB. Lots of nice malt going on here, tastes almost like a Wee Heavy due to the malt presence. Despite, the hops balance out provide a refreshing bitterness.

So very much an English ale. Mild to r extreme. More malt than hops. But still a good ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Selver in Tallinn. BB Dec 2016. Pours clear mahogany/coppery orange with big creamy white head. Nice aroma of English yeast, earthy, black tea, strawberry-like sweetness. Tastes likewise, with an earthy bitterish finish. Carbonation moderate, body lightish medium. Sessionable. Really nice.

Appearance is quite clear, a really nice dark coppery amber. Not too much head when I poured it but lots of gorgeous lacing. Smells toasted and malty, bit fruity. High carbonation which works really well with it. Taste of malt and has sweet caramel hints with a satisfying bitter finish. Hops are on the faint side. Tasty, and light to medium bodied. I found this really refreshing and crisp.

0.355 l bottle from World Beer Museum, Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo. Dark cloudy amber colour, with a decent head. Taste is malty in a sweetish way with some hops, but not very much, since this is not a bitter. End is still dry.

Pale Ale muy británica. De aromas y sabores dulces, a miel, pasas, pan y dátiles, con un toque floral a lúpulo que cierra el trago. Muy bebible pero a la vez compleja en matices. Chula

550ml bottle from LCBO. 5% Alc./Vol. Pours a clear deep amber colour with one finger of lasting head. Aroma isn’t too impressing. Notes of roasted malts on the nose. Malty taste with notes of bread and hay with a hoppy finish. Moderate carbonation. Nothing special but easy to drink.
