This Pale ale poured a deep red colour with a light brown head. At first Spice and ripe fruit/ banana bread to the nose along with a sweet malt scent. First taste was smooth and rich with flavours of a slightly roasted flavour. Starts out a little sweet then turns into a slightly bitter finish. The palate is dry with the hops lingering.

This has a hoppy aroma. It pours darker than I expected - like a brown amber with a slightly offwhite head. There is an amazingly smooth malty flavor balanced out very nicely by innoffensive hops. It is slightly fruity somewhere in there and a tad roasty in the finish - sweet and balanced. Oh my, this has a very full mouthfeel! I can’t afford to love this!

550 ml bottle. Pours out a delicious looking nutty amber color. Decent sized whitish head sticks to sides of glass and hangs out in a layer over the surface once diminished. Kind of a bready, malty aroma. Taste is slightly above average for a bitter. Flows across the tongue. Good stuff

Bottle Pours a medium dark nutty brown with a nice full creamy beige head. Very nice sweet nutty aroma. Brown sugar and molassas as well. Flavor is not as sweet as the aroma hinted. Nutty and woody, easy on the hops. Nice malt presence. Very low on the carbonation, and a nice soft feel. Dry almost chalky finish and no real hops aftertaste. Not Bad

Pours an amber caramel color with a thick white head. Aroma is bitter with hints of fresh hops and lemon citrus. Flavor is bittery with hints of lemon, fresh yeast, nuts and caramel toffee. Pretty good overall. This works on a hot sunny day.

Nice brown in falvour with a malty butter and toffee finish in the flavour. It’s a quality ESB. No head... a little soapy, but really quite enjoyable.
