Aroma is hoppy, and a bit earthy. Pours a large off-white head which is mostly lasting. Colour is a nice medium orangey red. Light caramel notes in the flavour as well as light to medium bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A good, balanced pale ale. Fukito (604), Buenos Aires, Argentina

English-style pale ale. Amber - dark colour, large frothy head. Lively aroma, bursting with hops, caramel malt and biscuits. Medium-bodied. hints of burnt. Nice package, i really like Sam´s bottles. This one is simple, yet apalling. I must say i love tadcaster brews. This one, although maybe too simple, lives up to the brewery it as brewed. highlandlad (1278), Sydney, Australia

Lively aroma, bursting with hops, caramel malt and biscuits. Medium-bodied and earthy. Caramel malts on the tongue and a dry bitter finish. However, it’s a fairly simple brew, with little of the complexity of some of their other ales. (Bottle) agl108 (513), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

Faint citrus aroma, not very pungent. Taste is dominated by malts, surprisingly not very hoppy. Not a bad brew at all. maniac (2774), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Maintains a deep, red-orange mahogany in the glass. Aroma is not ver impressionable; malty, a little molasses sweetness. Wonderful to the palate: a rich, slightly creamy medium body that fills the mouth and is downright fresh and clean. Like the aroma, the flavor is not terribly strong, presenting a slight malty sweetness. Overall, easy to drink, very refreshing. Will definitely return to this one at some point. Aromal is of caramel, malts, a hint of hops, and a sour fruit flavor I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Flavor was the same with a slightly bitter finish. Another good Samuel Smith’s brew.
