A nice bitter. Average pour. but malt is nutty and nice with strong caramel. Well hopped to provide a solid dry finish. This beer travels well

Slight citrus smell; dark amber color; the finish is a little too sour for my taste (On re-rating, I found this much better.)

Bottled. A gentle copper coloured beer with a hop note to the aroma, a smooth malt flavour and a balanced palate.

Pours amber/red with small off-white head. Nose is rather fruity and malty with some slightly bitter floral hops bite. The flavor begins rather malty, nutty, with mild bitterness. It segues into a suprising apple flavor and ends with grapefruit flavored hops. Slightly chalky mouthfeel. Enjoyed this beer.

Clear reddish/copper color with a thin white head a low carbonation. Aroma of green apples, caramel and diacetyl and a little of an old stale pub aroma that I find endearing but I am not sure what it is. Straight ahead flavor of malt and caramel and a fair amount of butterscotch with a little bitterness in the end. A bit tart with some chalkiness also. Well balanced, clean and easy to drink.

Pours dark amber large head. Not much in the aroma, light hops and yeast. Maybe a touch of caramel. Flavor can best be described as malt based. Just a little caramel and a little bitter at the back. It is very well balanced and a very drinkable ale.

Light caramel malt, toffee and bready aroma. Faint floral nose also noted. Caramel, toffee, and chewy bread flavors. Finishes round and somewhat creamy. Nice mouthfeel. A good brew.

550ml bottle. Pretty beer - crystal clear amber with a big, foamy tan head that gets a bit rocky as is shrinks. Nutty caramel malt nose. Mildly bitter nutty malt flavor, dry. Good.
