Name changed from Old Brewery Pale Ale to Organic Pale Ale in 2011.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, yeast, hops.
Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create a full, rounded flavour and after-taste.
Best served at about 51°F (11°C).

Poured dark caramel color, little to no head, rich caramely smell, true of caramel with bitter aftertaste.

Bottle pour. Aroma is dark fruits, caramel and noble hops. Appearance is cloudy brown (like a dark cider) with minimal head, no noticeable sparkle and no lacing. Taste is as aroma--a bit like a rich, dessert wine. Palate is medium bodied with average carbonation and pleasant sweet finish. Overall, a nice, authentic European representative of the style. Unique and good.

Aroma - sweet caramel malt and some toast. Appearance - the body is a slightly hazed amber. Head is 1 1/4" and head, tight and settles slowly. Sudsy lacing. Taste - malted barley, toffee, and classic English hops (Fuggles & East Kent Goldings). Slight nuttiness as it warms. Palate - between light and medium bodied, texture is smooth almost soft, the carbonation is soft, and finish is slightly tannic.

Bottle from Willow’s Market in Menlo Park, CA. Aroma is caramel, malts, mild dirty/earthy hops. Taste is heavy, chewy caramels, lozenges. A gritty, toothy Pale Ale most likely brewed to be appreciated in a dark English bar by men far more ferocious than myself.

1 pt, 2.7 fl oz bottle. Pours a clear amber with a massive beige head. Aromas are lactic sour and chalk. Tastes are biscuit, subtle caramel malts, lightly bitter and dry. Light body, assertive carbonation, and a medium dry finish. Sessionable.

I think its history is exciting. I love the taste, but its flavor is not very kræftig. Slightly syndt when it is otherwise so good beer.
