COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Handcrafted at Melbourn Bros’ tiny brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic apricot fruit juice and a previously cellared organic brew - creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Bottle @ Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaahs Fruity Valentines tasting. Clear golden colour with a small to medium sized white head that doesn’t last. Smells yogho yogho, apricot, peachy, sweet, syruppy. Tastes sweet but slightly sour at the same time, natural, apricot, peach, nice. Refreshing. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle - golden with a slight haze and thin ring for a white head. Aroma of fresh apricots (unsurprisingly) and some yoghurt. Taste of apricots, a little marmalade and a little orange in the finish. Medium body, low carbonation. A tasty treat.

AshtonMcCobb (3674) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 2, 2015
Bottle from Crafty Pint, I think. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - dried apricots, not much else. Taste - more of the same. Palate - close to medium bodied with a lovely tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Great palate, mostly on the back of the fruit I’d have to say. Overall - it’s nice but really the apricots dominate everything and if you hope to taste anything else, you’ll be disappointed.

The apricot is very there, so is a ton of sweetness, don't care for it. Smells good enough though.

Bottle poured a golden in color with a thick layer of white head that retained well. Aroma has jammy fruit, fruity sweetness, cream cheese, and some malts. Mouth feel is medium light with good carbonation. Flavor again is led by the fruit, more juice than fresh fruit, some sweetness, and some underlying malt. Just too much juice for me.

Pours a clear, slightly golden yellow with a thick and rather persistent ivory head. Apricot overtone reaches out and touches you from a fair distance. Though quite strong and sweet, it lets through a peep of malt. Flavor is quite fruity, almost more cider or wine (Apricot cider or wine? I suppose it’s doable) than beer; however, the malty undertone reminds you what sort of potent potable this is. Heavy texture has some good beery fizz. Apricot in liquid form. If you love apricots, here’s a brew for you.

[7011-20141223] Bottle. Fragrant tropical fruity apricot aroma. Clear, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Fruity sweet apricot juice flavour. Medium body. Fruity. (6/3/6/3/12) 3.0

Strong aroma of apricots, good golden color, fairly sweet but given that it is a fruit beer that is to be expected. Light and tart as well.

2014-12-23. Dark yellow body with a nice white head and light lace. 3+ Aroma is quite sweet and fruity, apricot character is strong. Flavour is similarly sweet and fruity, lots of apricot character. Smooth average bodied palate, soft to low carbonation. Decent apricot character but not much else. Bottle from the LCBO, Toronto.
