bottle from a Farm Shop in Sidford. Clear very red colour, large rosé head with an aroma of cherry (or cherry bubblegum). Full-bodied, sweet and fruity with good cherry flavours, that do not seem artificial. A very nice fruit beer, although a wee bit too sweet perhaps.

At the tasting session by Joes. A clear red beer, with less, off white, head. The aroma is sweet, with a little bitter. It has almond in it. The taste is fruity, raspberries, it’s warm. It’s a little bitter and some sour. Less aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a clear, reddish copper colour with a frothy pink head. Aroma is all cherry – like cherry sauce. Faint metallic notes and a bit dusty. Flavour is very sweet; candy-like cherry. As it warms, it develops a sourish touch and some metallic notes. Dry finish with remote notes of hops behind the cherries. This could be a cloying beer what with all the cherry, but it actually works rather well. Very refreshing. 27-07-08.
