Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Bottle at The Angel, Rotherhithe/Bermondsey, London, Saturday 23rd May 2015 Almost mahogany in colour with off-white head, nutty in mouth, acres of chocolate, really full on smooth, some smooth milkiness, super beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Even though I typically prefer a Belgian white over dark beers, this one is surprisingly smooth going down. Flavor was very well rounded.

Chocolate aftertaste makes this an excellent after dinner drink. Dark and bitter but smooth, too.

Bottle from Breeze Thru. Very dark brown pour. Little head. Nose is all cocoa nibs, with cocoa nibs back. The taste leads with cocoa, but caramel kicks in, and it actually drifts into fruity. Not super sweet; super cocoa-y with that bit of bitterness. 14.1

Botella. @Cabanón, Avilés 19/05/2015. Color negro opaco, espuma beige, sabor a chocolate, cuerpo denso. Una de las mejores cervezas con chocolate

Nice black stout with big light brown frothy head that is medium long. Lots and lots of milk chocolate, sweet, mild aroma, soft, brown sugar, cocoa, vanilla. Round and soft, mild carbonation, medium body, very slight bitterness, light roasted malt, long finish. One of those quite minimalist ones that does not shine with nuances but where things are done well anyway, good flavors and look, nice palate for this kind of beer. Good one!

This is a dessert beer. Pours a black opaque colour with a thin tan coloured head. Aroma is strong chocolate with a slight caramel malt. Flavour is sweet caramel into chocolate, slightly milky. Nice beer to finish the night on.

550ml bottle picked up at the state store
Pours dark brown with a medium sized beige head, good lacing. Aroma of vanilla, sweet milk chocolate and toffee. Taste is chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla with a mild bitterness in the finish, dry
Good, a lot of sweet chocolate but the dry and bitter finish helped balance it out.

A very dark brown beer with a medium and beige head. A nose is strongly sweet and chocolate, cocoa, some vanilla, strong sweetness. Taste is also strongly sweet, milk chocolate, some esanse notes. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation. Too sweet and slightly esanse notes with the strong milk chocolate is just too much. Sweet dessert.
