COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

"Instant decadent aroma of bakers chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted malts and vanilla. Semisweet in flavor with a hint of bitterness. Loads of chocolate and cocoa in the flavor. Light palate prevents it from being cloying. An enjoyable, luxurious sessionable dessert beer. inconsistency has me dock this a point."

Pours a deep dark black with a 1 finger brown white head. Aroma is a strong dark chocolate with notes of a sweet milk and slight coffee. Taste is a sweet chocolate in to dark chocolate with a smooth milk flavor all the way around. Mouth feel is a nice sweet semi sticky yet full body. Overall this is an excellent beer and honestly would make a great dessert beer.

Smell is milk chocolate all the way. Taste is semi-sweet chocolate and cocoa. A bit roasty. Dark chocolate aftertaste (the good kind of bitter). Black coffee. Medium carbonation kind of like soda and dangerously smooth going down.

Pours very dark brown. Vanilla bomb. Both aroma and taste. Completely overpowered by vanilla. At first interesting, but the beer lost all atractiveness after a while. Not great.

550ml bottle from LCBO. Pour dark reddish brown with a nice thick tan head. Chocolat, chocolat and chocolat with roasted chestnuts. Taste, more chocolat, sweet nuts and small note of coffee. Medium body, oily and creamy texture, low bitterness and long sweet finish. Very nice beer in its style.

Super chocolaty. Hints of vanilla. Made me want to throw a scoop of ice cream in it for dessert

Nice chocolate flavor. Didn’t think sam smith would have something this good. Enjoyable

Deep dark brown body, with seemingly rocky tan head, which disappears after 10mins. Very strong aroma of cocoa and chocolate. Very strong cocoa sweetness dominates your tongue, some roast and aciditiy. Chocolate drink rather than actual stout. It seems really good when you try it, but gets really tiresome somewhere in half (550ml bottle), to the point when it’s hardly drinkable., strongly recommend to split the bottle and serve as a dessert.
