4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Black, black colored, strong pale tan creamy head with very nice lacing and mostly lasting. Aroma is of some caramel, strong chocolate and even more cocoa. Taste is medium+ sweet chocolate, bit sugar, cocoa nibs, dark chocolate with some cocoa bitterness. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. Better than excellent!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at Senor Lupulo. Very dark colour, nice smooth beige head. The cocoa is all over the place, but not overwhelming. Instead nicely incorporated into the rest of softly yet intensely roasty chocolatey base stout. Full bodied and rather sweet. Very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bottle. Rich and dark mahogany blackness with a thin tan head. Smells like a tootsie roll, which is good. Very strong cocoa notes, for myself very sweet on the malt and little much. A fun beer to bridge people over to craft just to be direct with flavors. CHOCOLATE TOOTSIE ROLL..so easy.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at The Red Lion, London. Pours pitch black with big creamy chocolate milk coloured head. Aroma is brown sugar, molasses, cocoa, warm milk, vanilla. Taste is very sweet with lots of chocolate, molasses, milk and some vanilla. Ends more bitter to balance sweetness. Medium body and good carbonation for the style. Really good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Dark brown body with a reddish hue. Medium to small head for a stout. Aroma has sweet milk chocolate - it’s pretty natural and delicious, unlike on many cheaper chocolate beers that have a kind of powdery cocoa aroma/taste. Taste continues this smooth milk chocolate sensation that never starts to resemble cheap candies. Impressive. One of the better sweetened adjunct stouts that I can think of. Highly recommended, especially for people who normally don’t like beer. [PS: Less talk about your sunken well and more information about the type of cocoa used would be appreciated, thank you!]
