3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Really smells just like fudgy brownies fresh from the oven; not complex at all but very pleasing. Appearance: Not quite pitch black, but nearly so with a foamy mocha head that settles into a thin, bubbly coating on the glass. Flavor: Fudgy up front, but lingers with dark fruits on the tongue; there’s even a very slight bitterness toward the finish. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Overall: Delightful stuff; a very high quality stout that is off the chart drinkable, yet offers some complexities for the connoisseur.

Pitch black with a brown head, decent lacing and no carbonation. Nose is rich chocolate, roasted malts and cocoa. Tastes like chocolate, roasted barley & malts with a slight resin hoppiness. Heavy body with mild carbonation; Quite creamy. Fantastic tasting sweet stout!

No bottle date that I can find.
Pours a dark brown with a fluffy light tan sheet, the beer leaves small spots of lace. Smells of sweet cocoa, lots of cocoa, little bits of roasted malts, some sugar, a hint of milk and spotted with leather. Taste is sweet, milky, some slight bitterness, a strong dose of cocoa still remains - the flavor is more obviously cocoa nib than other beers touting cocoa (meaning- powdered cocoa). Full bodied with a low carb and viscus finish. Nice beer, would be great mixed with their organic strawberry ale.

Bottle from LCBO. Clear deep dark brown, 1-inch tan head. Aroma of creamy vanilla and that’s it. Taste is super-sweet with vanilla and chocolate. Drinkable, but a little sweet for my tastes.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle pours a dark brown with a light tan head. The aroma is vey rich, sweet, and creamy chocolate. The taste is also quite sweet, very rich and pleasantly bitter chocolate flavor. Very drinkable, and the bitterness balances the sweetness. Overall an excellent chocolate stout.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours black with a brown head. Taste chocolate, sweet, almost like chocolate syrup. I thought this was very good. I would definitely drink this again.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle/ Pours dark black, the dark tannish head lasts long and thick. Coca is clear and is evident even across the table of my family, they even love it. It is veryy delicious. It reminds me of a cold winter days hot chocolate. Very smooth and an easy drink for a stout. I love it. ONLY downside is that it is only 5%...

Had seen this one for a while before i "pulled the trigger"
550ml bottle from Fred Meyer in S.Salem OR.
Absolutely perfect looking stout in my snifter..black of course and with a bubbly, creamy and thick light tan head.
Smells of sweet chocolate powder, raisins and honey. Nice but simple.
Taste is the same creamy sweet cocoa nibs,,toasted cereal and a slight alcoholic taste that seems out of place in something this strength.
Mouth feel is on the thin side for style but the medium carbonation helps out.
This is OK but i expected a whiole lot more.
