Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Pours black. White creamy white head, good lacing. Aroma is sweet chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor is much the same. Dry, becoming sweet and warming. Chocolate milk flavor, developing over the course of tasting. Creamy mouthfeel is perhaps the best part. Highly quaffable at 5%. Excellent chocolate stout.

Eye: Pours a clear but dark brown almost black color with a thick rather quickly dissipating beige to brown head and no visible carbonation. Nose: really smells like milk or even more like dark chocolate malts and sweet milk coffee, yeast appears after a while. Mouth: sweet chocolate again. thick and chewy. Black tea with milk and sugar. Palate: roasted nuts, nutmeg, tea or chai latte. bitterness at the end. Overall: a real chocolate sensation. few carbonation. sweet at first in the mouth, bitterness and sweetness combined in the aftertaste which lasts quite a few seconds. strong on the malty side, yeasty in the nose and hops on the palate at the very end. Great beer!

Alcoolica e adocicada, com chocolate evidente, inclusive no aroma. O chocolate, no entanto parece do tipo ao leite...prefiro os amargos. Nao ficou ao meu gosto.

This beer is crazy good. The chocolate flavor and aroma is AMAZING. Thick beer. Tough on flavor and aroma. To good to be true ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A gorgeous pour with a Coca-cola coloured body, topped by a big bubbled off-white head. The chocolate hits the nose immediately, especially the organic cocoa they used. The palate is rich, full and creamy. The tastes are chocolate, cocoa, and as my wife points out, something akin to cherry or raspberry, lurking in the background. As it warms there is even a hint of hops on the swallow. This is a gorgeous, beautifully drinking beer.

Strange, I drink this regularly, but never did review...Pours dark brown with thin chocolate head. Aroma is undoubtedly chocolate. Flavor is certainly rich chocolate first, but also has some nice malt roast to remind that this is beer. Very smooth, with a fairly clean finish, this is very drinkable any time.

Bottle @mother-in-laws. Pours black with a tan head. Nose is chocolate, milk chocolate rather than dark, quite inviting. Taste is chocolate and more chocolate, fruit cake and more milk chocolate with a slight touch of vanilla. This is very one toned but lovely at the same time, if this had a roasted depth to it it would be better.

Without doubt one of the best beers I’ve ever tasted. I like Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout, this is even better. The only thing I don’t like is the price, $78 a case plus tax . Since I live in the backwards state of PA it’s only available in cases.

bottle. Chocolate stout - best way to describe is taking a beer and adding hersheys syrup. Not refined
