COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Smells great, lots of cocoa in the nose, sugary sweetness, roastyness, vanilla. A bit artificial but smells quite nice. Dark black, with brown long lasting head. Very sweet, upfront chocolate, roasted malt, sugar, finishes with a dark malt, milk and sweetness. A bit too sweet for my taste. Light bodied and average carbonation. An alright sweet stout with a great aroma.

[Bottle (500ml)] Pours a murky amber-brown with an average size semi-lasting frothy beige head. Minimal lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate and malt first and foremost, followed by some oats, Maltesers, very light leafy hops and some lactic notes. Flavour of chocolate, almost a bit too chocolaty, along with caramel malt, some dark fruit and lactic notes -- kind of sweet. Medium bodied, almost creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good but not really for me.

One of the best beers Iíve ever had. Tried it out of the bottle and in the glass. Will say, out of the bottle is the best. In a pint glass, the taste and smell went a bit metallic.

Itís see-through brown-black with a creamy, golden brown head. The aroma has very strong notes of vanilla and chocolate/candy store, a bit overwhelming, I also find cocoa and chocolate. The sweet flavor has the same notes and a slightly bitter finish. As i initially said: Overwhelming in itís strong vanilla notes - it probably would be nice with the right kind of desert, but otherwise a bit too overwhelming for my taste.

Bottle. A- Chocolate, milk, toast. A- Black body, dark liquid, tan frothy head. T- Balanced, milk, chocolate. P- Medium body, milky texture, average carbonation, chocolatey finish. O- This is beautifully done. When they say this basically tastes like chocolate milk, they arenít lying. You could drink this all day long. A Sweet Stout at itís very finest.

Creamy, ridiculously chocolatey, and sleek. This beer is delicious. Iíd like to say more, but frankly, I donít feel that I could do this stout justice. Itís in a separate class.

Dark opaque brown color, good beige head. Strong essance chocolate aroma. Medium-bodied. Super sweet, essance chocolate/cocoa flavor. Awful. Couldnít finish the bottle. I canít understand score here.

Bottle. Black with a big head which took time to dissipate. Pleasant chocolate aroma upon opening.. Powerful chocolate dominated body. Sometimes beers made from non traditional ingredients donít come off. This one does-with a vengeance!

Pretty good tasting beer. I'm no expert when it comes to beers but this is a decent chocolate stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
