4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at Senor Lupulo. Very dark colour, nice smooth beige head. The cocoa is all over the place, but not overwhelming. Instead nicely incorporated into the rest of softly yet intensely roasty chocolatey base stout. Full bodied and rather sweet. Very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bottle. Rich and dark mahogany blackness with a thin tan head. Smells like a tootsie roll, which is good. Very strong cocoa notes, for myself very sweet on the malt and little much. A fun beer to bridge people over to craft just to be direct with flavors. CHOCOLATE TOOTSIE ROLL..so easy.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at The Red Lion, London. Pours pitch black with big creamy chocolate milk coloured head. Aroma is brown sugar, molasses, cocoa, warm milk, vanilla. Taste is very sweet with lots of chocolate, molasses, milk and some vanilla. Ends more bitter to balance sweetness. Medium body and good carbonation for the style. Really good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Dark brown body with a reddish hue. Medium to small head for a stout. Aroma has sweet milk chocolate - itís pretty natural and delicious, unlike on many cheaper chocolate beers that have a kind of powdery cocoa aroma/taste. Taste continues this smooth milk chocolate sensation that never starts to resemble cheap candies. Impressive. One of the better sweetened adjunct stouts that I can think of. Highly recommended, especially for people who normally donít like beer. [PS: Less talk about your sunken well and more information about the type of cocoa used would be appreciated, thank you!]

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
My "go to" stout. Could be a bit thicker but taste and aroma make mouth feel much less important.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Delicious is the word for this! Dark brown/black pour with thin beige head. Aroma is dark malts and chocolate. Chocolate dominates its taste. Like a huge pour of fudge in a stout. Oh lord! Beautiful. Smooth, creamy, sweet and caní t get ever enough! Gorgeous brew!

Big beautiful fluffy persistent airy mocha coloured head. Deep dark brown. Powdered chocolate, milk chocolate aroma. Rich cocoa flavour, dark fruit, very low roast, sweet, almost like a milk stout. Med-full body, med carbonation. Sweet finish.

Sweet mother of Neptune... THIS is one delicious brew. Chocolate aroma, chocolate flavor, smooth as all Billy Get Out, and how I wish Iíd purchased more than one bottle of this glorious stout.
Iíll be back for more. Bank on it.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer is almost syrup. The aroma is thick with the cocoa, as is the flavor. The pour is dark and creamy with soft carbonation. The taste is chocolate and yet still beer - more chocolate than Youngís. The beer is very smooth and not bad, but a bit sweeter than I like.
