COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Creamy, ridiculously chocolatey, and sleek. This beer is delicious. Iíd like to say more, but frankly, I donít feel that I could do this stout justice. Itís in a separate class.

Dark opaque brown color, good beige head. Strong essance chocolate aroma. Medium-bodied. Super sweet, essance chocolate/cocoa flavor. Awful. Couldnít finish the bottle. I canít understand score here.

Bottle. Black with a big head which took time to dissipate. Pleasant chocolate aroma upon opening.. Powerful chocolate dominated body. Sometimes beers made from non traditional ingredients donít come off. This one does-with a vengeance!

Pretty good tasting beer. I'm no expert when it comes to beers but this is a decent chocolate stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

TATE (285) - Lubec, Maine, USA - DEC 24, 2013
Bottle. Pours a deep ruby color with a thick tan head. Color is a little light for a stout. Big chocolate aroma up front more than in any beer I can remember. The chocolate flavor comes through in the flavor as well with a vert sweet finish with a touch of bitterness. The biggest drawback for me was the mouthfeel, very fizzy, I wish it was creamier but overall a nice stout.

A 550 ml bottle from Liberty Wine Merchants on Commercial Drive in Vancouver. A very dark, almost black, slightly translucent brew with generous tan head. Sweet chocolate assaults the nose. Sweet and mellow chocolate and malts tickle the tongue. No hop detected. This beer is for chocolate lovers! This is about as close to liquid chocolate as a beer can be and still be called a beer. Myself, as much as I like chocolate, and like chocolate notes in a good stout, Iím looking for headier brew with more complexity. I much prefer Samuel Smiths Imperial Stout. Itís a great one.

why the god-damn fuck do I have to re-fucking rate this to add to my fucking profile? just like asshole goddamn fucking worthless software pieces of shit and phone manufacturers, you gotta once again have attention to your godddamn fucking software after Iím long done and gone with it. I took the time to put a thoughtful rating on your fucking site and now I have to re-do it over again so I can add a rating to my fucking profile? FUCK OFF AND DIE, YOU ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT AND I DONíT NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOU AFTER THE FACT THAT I AM ALREADY DONE WITH YOU. WHAT I WANT IS FOR YOUR FUCKING SOFTWARE TO CLOSE WHEN I AM FUCKING DONE WITH IT \Hard to find anything in the sweet stout category better than this. Although the appearance ainít all that, the aroma is all chocolate, and the flavor blends hersheyís liquid syrup with milk and snickerís ice-cream bars and the general sweet goodness of cocoa with marshmallows and makes them into a single beer. Organic, schmanic. Try looking up what that title actually means in your local area, then report back. I donít like this beer because of some marketing gimmick, nor some reactionary stance towards one of Europís most mis-represented issues. I like the beer because, as sweet stouts go, this one is certainly a top dog in any room.

Pours dark mahogany brown with a large tan head. Smells strongly of chocolate with hints of malty roast. Taste is strong chocolate with hints of malt roast. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout finishes with a soft chocolate sweetness.
