Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Nieprzejrzyście czarne z szybko znikającą pianą. Aromat to niezwykle intensywna słodka czekolada - budyń czekoladowy, belgijskie pralinki. W tle lekki nugat. Genialne. W smaku piwo nie jest przesłodzone, dominuje kawa z cukrem i ponownie słodka czekolada. Finisz to lekko zarysowana kawowa goryczka.

550ml bottle from Blacker Hall farmshop, Wakefield. Pours black in colour with a reddish-brown tinge, a beige foam head and fruity chocolatey aroma with cocoa, vanilla. Flavour is sweet, chocolate, vanilla, fruity, with cocoa, roasted malt and earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Pours dark with massive head. Strong, veey sweet chocholate aroma. Some fruity notes can also be sensed. Taste is very sweet, with a strong, almost Kahlua like taste. Veey sweet and easy. What a stout. Excellent!

Aroma is mostly chocolate. Taste is sweet chocolate on a balanced stout backbone. It is a sweet drink, more a dessert drink than a beer, but nice if you like sweet flavours.

This is a decadent beer. It deserves the designation of chocolate more than any other I know of by far. As well it is literally a sweet stout, more similar to an actual candy bar than most brews which should more accurately be called "cocoa stouts". It is swimming in chocolate. One of a kind distinctly sweet aroma. Chocolate with notes of chocolate and laced with chocolate with chocolate overtones. Tastes strong chocolate with hints of marshmallow. Color is effectively black but looking carefully through a thinner amount reveals that it is actually a very dark red or brown, similar to a Guinness. Feels great and drinks too easy but it is so strongly sweet and decadent that I would not like to drink more than one. This is not a dessert beer, this beer is dessert. Iíve been looking for a beer like this for a long time but in the time it took to get here Iíve realized that a beer is not meant to be chocolate milk. Would like to rate even higher, but as I have stated this is not for mature tastes and a little too rich in retrospect. You donít feel like youíve gained for drinking it once itís gone.

Dark brown with barely any head. Aroma of milk chocolate. Taste is very full dark chocolate and finished with a bitter coffee note. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
