Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Taste: Smooth, silky, chocolate, vanilla, toffee and complex malts. Dark brown in color and mostly opaque. Love the aroma of fudge/chocolate. Medium not quite full body. Tall cake of foamy head and some sticky lace.

Hershey’s milk chocolate aromas. Taste is creamy Hershey’s milk chocolate and a little bitter bite in the finish.

Black color, medium lightly brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, biscuit, light hops. Sweet, lightly dry and bitter taste. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice sweet stout, good dessert beer.

Bottle at Senor Lupulo. Very dark colour, nice smooth beige head. The cocoa is all over the place, but not overwhelming. Instead nicely incorporated into the rest of softly yet intensely roasty chocolatey base stout. Full bodied and rather sweet. Very good.

Poured from a bottle. Rich and dark mahogany blackness with a thin tan head. Smells like a tootsie roll, which is good. Very strong cocoa notes, for myself very sweet on the malt and little much. A fun beer to bridge people over to craft just to be direct with flavors. CHOCOLATE TOOTSIE ROLL..so easy.

Bottle at The Red Lion, London. Pours pitch black with big creamy chocolate milk coloured head. Aroma is brown sugar, molasses, cocoa, warm milk, vanilla. Taste is very sweet with lots of chocolate, molasses, milk and some vanilla. Ends more bitter to balance sweetness. Medium body and good carbonation for the style. Really good stuff.

Bottle. Dark brown body with a reddish hue. Medium to small head for a stout. Aroma has sweet milk chocolate - it’s pretty natural and delicious, unlike on many cheaper chocolate beers that have a kind of powdery cocoa aroma/taste. Taste continues this smooth milk chocolate sensation that never starts to resemble cheap candies. Impressive. One of the better sweetened adjunct stouts that I can think of. Highly recommended, especially for people who normally don’t like beer. [PS: Less talk about your sunken well and more information about the type of cocoa used would be appreciated, thank you!]

My "go to" stout. Could be a bit thicker but taste and aroma make mouth feel much less important.
