Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Cola black beer and dark beige head. Really lovely aroma of chocolate and coffee. Really nice flavor of chocolate and dark cherries. Medium bodied and easy to drink. Refreshing even. I love this one. Highly recommended.

Bottle. Dark brown, average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sugary sweetish aroma, some caramel and artificial like coffee/chocolate. Body is medium, malty and sugary sweetish flavor, some caramel and artificial like chocolate. Finish is average, malty and sweet, faint roastiness and some artificial like coffee/chocolate. Too (sugary) sweet for me. Lacks character - for those with sweet tooth.

Maybe itís that Iím not tasting to style, but this amalgam of probably decent beer, sugar and extract is one of the most foul flavored beers Iíve had since I stopped drinking flavored beers. Pours with an amazing dark color and rich creamy head.

Bottle as a gift from Helsinki. BB June 2016. Pours a rather light brown colour while appearing black with a ruby hue in the glass. Headís light beige, rather big, soapy bubbles, drops slowly, leaving little lacing. On the nose itís chocolate powder and kama chocolate, maybe some kind of chocolate with bits of berries in it. Tastes sugary sweet, more cocoa than chocolate, some bitterness too. Some cinnamon? The body is Iíd say on the lighter side of medium; the pleasantly crisp yet thin carbonation cuts through the sweet, slightly syrupy texture. Not liking the metallic effect it has on my teeth and walls of the mouth - kinda like coca-cola. I see this is quality stuff but itís not exactly my cup of tea, and the 550 ml is a bit too much really...

APPEARANCE - appears dark, held up to the light it has a deep dark brown color. NOSE - chocolatey deliciousness. FLAVOR - chocolate front to back. Light (perhaps oatmeal) stout flavor, but itís background to the chocolate.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond, Tel Aviv. Deep brownish-red with medium stable frothy brownish head. Nice aroma of praline with liqueur, cocoa powder, vanilla and bourbon. Flavor of sweet chocolate, praline with liqueur, moderate bitterness, some herbs and roasted malt. Moderate carbonation, full-bodied. Very nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond shop. Brown-black with a beige head. Smell of milk chocolate and cocoa. Taste of chocolate, licorace, cocoa, vanilla and caramel. Medium-bodied, smooth and creamy. Too much cocoa extract but still nice as a desert brew.

Pours clear deep brown with a fat finger of beige head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, spotty lacing. (4/5) Nose is sweet milky chocolate, strawberry, mildly nutty. (7/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium body, low carbonation, creamy and bitter. (3/5) Fairly intensely chocolate, but without being excessively sweet. Though it is sweet. And thereís a berry note - kinda strawberry - that comes across as a bit artificial. (14/20)
