Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Intense milk chocolate aroma, thin look and head. Wonderful chocolate taste, though slightly artificial. Very nice and drinkable, but 1 dimensional

Bleh! Smells and tastes like a chocolate tobacco shell wrap from the gas station. Instead of a nice, mildly sweet cocoa flavor, I get this tobacco-esque flavor mixed with a bit of earth and hardly any sweetness. Gross.

Kolsvart med ljusbrunt medium stort skum! Massor med ljus söt choklad i doft och massor i smaken! ! Bra kolsyrad! Smakar verkligen mjölkchoklad! ! Grym öl!

Pours a very dark brown with a thick tan head that dwindles down to just a coating. Aromas of sweet chocolate with a touch of vanilla bean and mocha. Flavor here isn’t as good as the aroma. Bittersweet like unsweetened cocoa. Light bodied, light carbonation.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a big, light brown, creamy head. To the nose there are scents of chocolate, roast and vanilla. First sip was very smooth but the mouthfeel was a little watery. Solid flavor of cocoa with a nice roasted finish. The chocolate flavor is a little "Quik" like but still very drinkable. The finish is dark chocolate. Its more like high end chocolate milk than beer but delicious none-the-less.

Had this one on Christmas Eve last year at my Grandmas house. Very chocolatey. Actually too much chocolate for me. I can see why people like it but I think it just wasnt for me so much.

Nice big head and excellent lacing. Strong aroma of expensive chocolate. Creamy texture and delicious flavors. Good beer.

Poured from a bottle. Dark brown color, great tan frothy head, nice lacing. Strong chocolate malt smell. Creamy chocolate taste with faint metallic finish.

The stout opens nicely. The aroma is reminiscent of a chocolate Porter. The appearance looks like basic root beer. As far as the taste goes it is a robust creamy flavor. As for the full pallet goes the aftertaste is quite nice. Overall not a bad stout. Organic or not it’s still a good beer.

Deep dark brown, nearly black with small wispy white head. Aromas of sweet chocolate milk. Taste is way too sweet for me, reminds me a little of ST Creme Brulee, perhaps not that sweet, but definitely not my cup of tea. I like Samuel Smith, but not this one.
