Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

550 mL bottle from LCBO served cool in a tulip glass. Deep brown-black with a decent tan head. Lots of chocolate, mainly milk chocolate, a little butterscotch, toffee notes, a little fruity, pretty straight forward. Medium body, full, round effervescence. Tons of slightly artificial chocolate, sweet, toffee notes, too simple; sweet, almost cloying with not quite enough bitterness to balance and a kinda bay, sweet, artificial chocolate finish. No thanks.

550 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a dark brown with rubyish hints and fairly big light tan head with moderate retention. Aroma has pretty big, dry milk chocolate and light fruity notes. Flavour is full of milky chocolate with hints of fruit and toffee. Creamy-ish texture. Just the perfect amount of chocolate for my tastes - its quite prominent but not sickly. Perhaps a bit one note, but if the notes that good what else do you need.

Dark brown color , nice brown head. Strong aroma of milk chocolate. Chocolate and coffee in taste. Decent and pleasant bitterness in taste . Long aftertaste of bitter dark chocolate. That was what i expected from chocolate stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark brown with beige head. Pretty beer. Strong aroma of chocolate, under that one can find roasted malt. Flavour is roasted, very sweet, chocolate. Full bodied.

This guys is exactly what I always expect from a chocolate stout, but never seem to get. Its almost too much chocolate, almost... but its not. The chocolate comes through in the aroma, the taste, the mouth feel, even the finish, but yet the stout is still sitting right there with it holding its own.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2014 50 cl bottle. Rich aroma of sweet coffee and chocolate. Sweet fruit and sweetness. Very brown to black. Thick light brown head. Lasting long. Very sweet! Coffee, dark chocolate. Some bitterness from hops. Little metallic on the lips. Not so smooth and filling in the mouth

Damn, this thing would make Hersey's blush. It is a dark, bitter chocolate that makes for a tasty beer. No need for dessert. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Location: 550 ml bottle from State Line, 11/13/13

Aroma: The nose is full of chocolate and sugar, very sweet, lives up to its name
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a small brown head and fairly coating lace
Flavor: The taste is sweet and malty, tons of milk chocolate, almost a chocolate mix flavor
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a smooth, creamy feel, and a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: This is one heck of a sweet, gimmick beer. Very much lives up to the chocolate part of its name. Honestly, it is hard to notice anything beyond the chocolate flavor-wise. Makes for a nice, sweet alternative, but it is not an every day drinking beer.
