Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Tastes like a scratch and sniff chocolate sticker plastered on my trapper keeper in 1987. Gross. Supposedly "organic" yet it I get the most artificial vibe imaginable from it. Sam Smith makes some great beers and this, kind sirs, is not one of them .

OK but not great for me because of the halzelnut flavor and aroma which makes me think of flavored coffee or Kaluhua ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a semi transparent very dark brown with a large tan head that settles kinda quickly and leaves a bit of lace. Aroma is artificial like chocolate(kinda chocolate syrup like), cocoa, and mild roasted malt. Flavour is cocoa, sweet chocolate syrup(kinda artificial like). Decent beer that tastes like chocolate syrup and there’s not much else to this beer.

Awesome beer. My favorite stout. Slight chocolate, very light black coffee with hints of coconut.

Pours black with an off-white head. Nose shows chocolate syrup, cocoa nibs and chocolate essence. Little else. Very sweet flavours too. Lots of artificial tasting chocolate and little else. Some soft roast. A bit cloying. Body feels watery.

Delicious. Incredibly chocolaty and creamy. Thick and delightful on the palate, with a heavy finish. Lingering aftertaste that leaves you craving more. Like drinking rich chocolate milk ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 550ml. When I open my bottle, the first aroma was a marvelous chocolate. It was like i was smelling a liquid chocolate. Same aroma came from the glass, but this time there is also a bit of a coffe. Beer got a beautiful head, it has a deeply brown colour, that seems to like like a black. In taste, the most dominant flavour is sweetness that came from chocolate, but there is also a light coffe aroma. Bitterness is very low. One of the best sweet stouts I have been drinking.

Thick and black. I thought the alcohol was higher. Strong chocolate flavor and aroma with roasted malt. This beer has possibly the best chocolate flavor of any beer I have had, like drinking a candy bar. Excellent.

The colour of black coffee. 1/2 inch of head. The smell of chocolate syrup can be smelt from a mile away. a mile malt smell as well. Taste of milk chocolate, bitter coffee and caramel. Overall one of the best stouts I have ever had.
