Very satisfying, creamy head. Pleasant smells of cocoa and a very smooth, creamy and mildy chocolate taste. Appearance is a dark, rich chocolate brown. Just mild cocoa lingers after the finish. Very easy to drink. Freshness abounds.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a burnt brown black with a pale head. Aroma is fruit- bananas, frozen yogurt, chocolate egg cream. Taste is pretty similar - sweet chocolate and colorful fruit tones. Mouthfeel is decent, reasonably heavy carbonation. Smooth palatte, tart-like finish. A very different beer. Not bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle; poured a nice looking dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, cocoa powder, vanilla and some sweetness. Flavor had a lot of cocoa and sweetness, with some vanilla and caramel. Not as artificial tasting as some others of the style. Very enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours jet coffee black with a small creamy head, long-lasting foamy retention, lots of sticky lacing. Robust and a distinctly milk chocolatey nose.
Attack: fizzy/creamy, 6/10-sweetness
Mid-palate: malts, milk chocolate, hints of cola/sarsaparilla, hazelnut
Finish: mild bitter roast, traces of sourness, light coffee & bittersweet malty lingering long finish.
Amazingly full-bodied for a relatively low ABV (5%) beer. A superb balance of sweetness, flavour, bitterness, and drinkability.
