3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours black with a huge, tan head that dissipates slowly into a cap. Smells and tastes like a chocolate milkshake. Thick, creamy mouthfeel that goes down smooth. Next time you get a burger, don’t down it with a shake, down it with a Samuel Smiths Organic Chocolate Stout!

This is an Awesome Beer with delivery of a Medium body. The pour is with Minimal carbonation. Darkest brown, slight amber hue, frothy tan head slowly settles and lasts. A not surprise, Soft carbonation, medium body, low hopped. A Mighty Awesome…desert beer a pleasant smells of cocoa and a very smooth.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Nose is rich cocoa (dusty hot cocoa powder, less real solid chocolate) and nothing else. Pours super-deep black-brown with a tan head. Taste is sweet and chocolaty, no hops or bitterness, no sour tang or salt, just controlled sweetness. Creamy medium-full body, non aggressive or crisp, just velvety. More chocolate dessert than beer. Just super fresh and alive.

Very satisfying, creamy head. Pleasant smells of cocoa and a very smooth, creamy and mildy chocolate taste. Appearance is a dark, rich chocolate brown. Just mild cocoa lingers after the finish. Very easy to drink. Freshness abounds.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a burnt brown black with a pale head. Aroma is fruit- bananas, frozen yogurt, chocolate egg cream. Taste is pretty similar - sweet chocolate and colorful fruit tones. Mouthfeel is decent, reasonably heavy carbonation. Smooth palatte, tart-like finish. A very different beer. Not bad.
