Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Bottle into English pint glass, super dark brown color with creamy dark tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate sweetness and a hint of vanilla. Taste adds notes of cocoa, very light coffee, mild roast and earthy hop bitterness. Medium body, low carbonation, creamy with slight bitter roast finish. Very tasty chocolate stout.

Pours black with a tan head. Smells like cocoa and sweet chocolate. Tastes of dark, slightly bitter chocolate. No real taste of sweetness. Very smooth and great tasting beer.

Not as sweet or as powerful as Choklat, but every bit as good, maybe better. This is definitely a BEER, not just a chocolate drink. Damn good stuff. Need more! :-)

This is awesome stuff! Like drinking melted chocolate. Black with small head, aroma of chocolate, taste of chocolate, slightly sweet. If you know a chocolate lover, this is the drink for them.

Appearance: Dark brown with ruby highlights and a thin tan/ivory head. Aroma: Belgian/milk chocolate, vanilla, reminds me of a chocolate milkshake. Taste: Medium/high sweetness, low bitterness and low sourness. Palate: Thick smooth texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, lingering sweet chocolate (milkshake) finish with a final bitter note. Quite cloying. Comments: Tasty, very chocolaty and a little sweet for me. Glass lace.

550ml bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a large, creamy tan head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Milk chocolate, roasted coconut, praline and a little roasty malt create an alluring aroma. Very mild herbal and spice hops quickly give way to a smooth blend of coconut and praline. Silky smooth milk chocolate in the mid-palate leads into a sweet nutty finish. You definitely need a sweet tooth for this one, but I would consider it to be a deliciously smooth, chocolatey sweet stout.

Tastes like a scratch and sniff chocolate sticker plastered on my trapper keeper in 1987. Gross. Supposedly "organic" yet it I get the most artificial vibe imaginable from it. Sam Smith makes some great beers and this, kind sirs, is not one of them .

OK but not great for me because of the halzelnut flavor and aroma which makes me think of flavored coffee or Kaluhua ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
