2014 frombottle. Dark pour, yellow creamy head with average lacing. Taste of extreme chocolate...to much for my taste.

Leave it to the Brits, who created the stout ale, to make a chocolate stout that is so freakiní yummy, so decadent that it makes most other chocolate stouts cry with envy. There is chocolate in every level of this beer, and if you told me the glass bottle is made of chocolate and the bottle cap was chocolate, it wouldnít shock me. My only issue with the beer is the head formation was pretty weak, not a lot of density to it. But the waves of chocolate and the rich, decadent vanilla are superb in every facet of the beer.

Really chocolatey aroma with milk / cream. Flavour is hot chocolate with milk and sugar. Wow. The chocolate is perfectly merged with the beer and this experience is wondrous. One of the best beers Iíve ever had.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours almost pitch black with an outstanding head, lacing and retention. Outstanding nose of very rich chocolate and notes of vanilla - like liquid chocolate malt balls. Almost medium bodied with a slightly slick and creamy texture. Normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence on the finish. The flavor profile is outstanding in intensity, very well balanced and reasonably complex. Itís begins with a liquid chocolate malt ball rush that is a nice blend of sweet and bitter dark chocolate with a slight vanilla note. The middle is slightly bitter, mostly of a dark bitter chocolate but also a touch of roast. The smooth finish slowly fades from sweet to bitter dark chocolate. This is the best example of a chocolate stout Iíve ever had.

Pours a rich dark brownish black, with a frothy tan head. Aroma is Roasted malt, mocha, milk chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. The taste is mostly chocolate, and sweet, almost no bitterness. This beer is very creamy with low CO2, but way smooth on the finish. Great desert beer, or just drink it when you want a chocolate bar and a beer. Very tasty and decadent. Over the top beer, very good, easy to drink.

Dark brown with fluffy head. Unfortunately this beer is overly sweet and sugary. Lacking in bitterness and depth.

550ml bottle. Creamy texture, strongly chocolaty. Rich and heavy. A bit too sweet for my liking.

I wanted to love this beer. On opening and pouring, it looks and smells great. the first sip is great, but somehow the chocolate and beer arenít blended quite right. Itís definitely worth a try, but I found it fell short of first impressions.

Piwo z butelki 550 ml. Zapach wspaniały, czekolada. Piana niestety mało trfała. Piwo słabo nasycone, niska goryczka. Ale ta czekolada...
Ładny laceing . Przyjemnie pijalne.
