Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

The pour is a deep dark brown with a nice tan head that leaves perfect lacing. The aroma is subtly sweet with soft chocolate notes. The mouthfeel is very light and creamy but the flavors are still robust and incredible. The beer is tremendously balanced. The sweet chocolate notes hit up front while a light roasty bitterness finishes the beer off. Exceeded my expectations! This is good stuff!

500 ml. bottle. Pours a darker brown with a nice biege head. Aroma of cocoa and malt. Taste is mild sweet chocolate and malt. Does remind one of Nestle Quik. Good is small doses.

500mL bottle. Poured medium-deep brown with a short, yellowy-beige head. The aroma picked up lots of sweet, very lightly-roasted cocoa and vanilla with a bit of wet barley beneath.. very focused on the chocolate, but that was OK. The flavor found similar stuff, but extra-sugared to a fault.. the chocolate and vanilla notes were tasty.. prickly carbonation and sweet chocolate candy on the grainy, slightly-cloying finish.. hard to drink the whole thing. Medium-bodied at most, and way too sweet on the palate.. leave out the extra sugar and they might’ve had a winner here.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours dark brown with a foamy clinging tan head and a milk chocolate aroma. There is a rich smooth cocoa flavor that leaves dry chocolate on the palate. Very tasty.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 01/03/2013. The beer is a clear dark brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate and grainy malt. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet chocolate, roasted malt and a bit of vanilla. The finish is chocolatey with a lingering cocoa aftertaste. Above average overall.

Poured from a 550ml bottle. Very sweet and confection like. Chocolaty, malty, coconut, nutty. This is not very drinkable. Not really liking this one.

Challenging to get through this bomber, basically a carbonated version of Nestlé quik, very thin bodied, cloyingly sweet, over carbonated, no warming alcohol, no malt no hops, no dice! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, roasty-toasty chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, coffee, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, You get the point. This poured from the bottle and was transformed into a perfectly nice cold chocolate beverage. There are no noticeable hops in this that I can detect. Not a hint of alcohol anywhere to be found, a touch of vanilla in the finish but that is it. Thick and creamy mouth feel. I am not one for flavored beverages but I will have another one of these.

Fra flaske på Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Fleet Street 3 Nov 12. Svart. Høyt kremaktig skum som varer. God sjokoladedrikkaroma. Smaken halvsøt sjokolade. Ettersmaken er Freia melkesjokolade.
