Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Sample from bottle. Black and opague. Cocoa and chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with cacao and chocolate milk. Thinnish. Tasty, yet onedimensional.

Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Kolding Storcenter.
Pours deep brown with a large, creamy, light-beige head. Aroma has cocoa, milky, light roasted. Low carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, sweet chocolate, fairly roasted. Good lingering malty dryness.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2013 Bottle @ RBESG pre-event at De drie dorstige herten, Utrecht. Opaque pitch black color, small beige head. Aroma of the gruesome "hopjesvla". I hate it. Tastes like it as well with sone sweetness and vanillla. Yuk yuk yuk. Not my thing at all!

RBESG 2013. Draught at Drie Torstige Herten. Black beer with a rich beige head. Chocolate and vanilla aroma, milky, licorice, caramel, toffee. Chocolate flavor, roasted, hay notes, milky, vanilla, creamy. Very much on the sweet side. Chocolate finish with vanilla and cream.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin tan head. The aroma is all chocolate with a little fudge and coconut. The flavour is very weak bitter with loads of chocolate and some vanilla on the palate. It’s a lovely warm and refreshing beer that’s not too sweet. The medium carbonation adds to the flavour. This beer should be 100 rated!

Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma is massive milk chocolate, with a touch of vanilla, fudge. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, it’s a one trick pony, but very nice!

50cl. bottle. Pours black with a dense beige head. Aroma definitely of chocolate. And hops. But mostly chocolate. Great taste of chocolate and roasted malts. Sweet, but not as sweet as eg. Youngs Double Chocolate Stout. Much better than I expected. I’ll have this one again.

500ml bottle from Spirits Crossroads. Poured a thinner density pitch black with an average size foamy beige head that leaves some serious gobs of lace. Back in the day T.G.I. Friday’s made these liquid alcoholic drinks by the half gallon that you blend, this is their Mudslide to a mother fuckin T. Light body with super soft to almost not there carbonation. Flavor is TGI Fridays Mudslide. Overall this is rather sweet with a cheaper cocoa flavor along with marshmellow, vanilla and cream. Not bad but I’ve had better.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2014 Pours black with a minimal light tan head. Aroma is definitely chocolate - maybe a little carob too. Taste is chocolate all day long with, maybe, a little molasses. Very smooth with a chocolatey malt finish.
