Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Bottle from Cockney Pub, Aarhus. Black with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. Too much sweetness in both aroma and taste for my liking. 240813

Extreme chocolate on the nose. Black in color. Taste is of chocolate and lots of it. Taste ends in roasted malt all while being deliciously creamy.

aroma: chocolate, right away. yoohoo, light cocoa, estery, chocolate milk. nearly opaque brown with a thick rocky off-white head. mild cocoa notes, though dominant. gentle sweetness that fades to light cocoa flavor. smooth and creamy. yoohoo/light cocoa flavor from start to finish to aftertaste. no bitterness seems to puncture the sweet cocoa characteristics of this smooth, soft, gentle ale.

Likened to chocolatey root beer, a great aroma of chocolate but a sweeter body with heavy sarsaparilla notes.

This is beer? None more chocolatey, at least that I’ve tried. Makes a great beer float.

So dark you can’t see through it. Sweet nose, chocolate predominates. Nice tan head that stands up. Thick, almost chewy. Velvety. Taste of liquid marshmallow, almost like a smore. Wow, couldn’t drik more than one, but a nice change of pace.

12oz bottle. Great aroma. Dark pour with a tan 2 finger head. Crazy cocoa flavor and long aftertaste. Very slow drinking beer. Very sweet half way through. Great sitting by a fire beer.

550ml bottle. Pours a deep brown color with a creamy two finger tan head. Smell is intense sweet milk chocolate and cocoa with slight molasses and condensed milk. Tastes of bittersweet chocolate, heavily creamed coffee and mild date. Creamy, smooth, medium light bodied feel that is only mildly carbonated. Long sweet cocoa aftertaste.
