2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at Vlaamsche Reus. I saw someone drinking this beer and was interested in it mostly because of the nice looks of the label. The beer itself is really nothing more than sweet milk chocolate. Way to much to drink a while bottle..

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Incredibly vanilla-stuffed beer. A Real lady-plader. However, if you're a vanilla freak; this one is for you!

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
I donít know how a Chocolate Stout can get better then this. This captures the flavor of a full bodied stout then adds a creamy chocolate flavor on top. My wife, who does not typically enjoy stouts, really liked this. I drank it chilled, but not too cold so the aroma really had a chance to come out.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from The Beerhive. Dark brown body with a medium beige head that holds well. Great lacing. Powerful aroma of Coco Pops, vanilla ice-cream and Twiglets. Itís very sweet - flavours of chocolate and cocoa powder. After a while it becomes very cloying. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. A creamy, chocolatey Stout thatís just too sweet for my liking. I couldnít finish the bottle. More like a chocolate cake than a beer.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours black with a large brown head. The aroma has a big lactose kick followed by milk chocolate. The taste is sweet milk chocolate, lightly roasty. Silky mouthfeel and very enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours and smells like a typical chocolate stout. Palate and mouthfeel is a little thin for the style, but the taste is pretty good. Not the best samuel smith beer by any means, but this is better than Youngís Dbl Chocolate stout in terms of depth of flavor (and not just a chocolate bar floating in a beer).

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: chocolate, vanilla, mocha, hazel, slight roasted barley, slight fruit.
Appearance: generally black with deep brown and red hues. Light brown creamy lasting head. Lacing in the glass.
Palate: med/heavy body, low carbonation. Finish leans towards a long lasting nutty chocolate flavor.
Taste: foreshadowed by aroma. In decreasing strength, mocha, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruit, sweet malt, roasted barley.
Needs a stronger base and would like more chocolate if thats the name.
