All off the Chocolate beers Iíve tried this is the closest to drinking a bar of dark bitter chocolate. The aroma and taste are intensely chocolaty. I wish Iíd just poured a small snifter and had with dessert. A pint was too much at one go. Smooth and silky. Very good stuff though. Serving: Bottle

One of the best chocolate beers Iíve ever had, pours a great head, really smooth, lower % of alcohol makes it very drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark beer with a very strong chocolate aroma. The initial flavour is quite fruity and then the chocolate kicks in property. Thereís a slightly sour tang to the fruit and I was a bit surprised it didnít have a little more body to it but itís a nice, fresh-tasting stout.

Pours very dark with the thick rich creamy head. Nice lacing. Taste of chocolate and coffee but it is a little light on the stout end. The aroma and Taste area very sweet.

You can smell chocolate, but itís just not as strong as I would like it. To me this beer is like taking your favorite stout and pouring a cup of water to it. Nowhere near Speedway or Founders Breakfast Stout.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A dark reddish brown beer topped by a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is dominated by chocolate, with a fruity sweetish--ness. Chocolate, sweetness, white sugar, hints of coffee and quite a lot of fruityness, with some vanilla sugar in the back. Medium body, almost thin, with a decent carbonation. Way to sugary this one, but at least thereís chocolate going on. 140418
