Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

Bottle. Pours a near black color with a moderate tan head. Nose has a strong note of chocolate to it, though it has just a tad bit of bitterness. Taste is almost a little sour, which is odd.

550 ml bottle. Black, with a thick light tan head. Sweet aroma of chocolate and vanilla, some roasted malt. The flavour is sweet, with milk chocolate and vanilla, and some roasted notes in the finish. To my taste a bit too sugary and light-bodied, but still not bad.

Black, tan head, and mild lacing. Chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and mild roast aroma. Medium bodied, sweet, mild roast, woody, and mildly syrupy. Sweet malt dominate, mild bitterness, and nice dry notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark chocolate, sweet malt character. Flavor also has some raisin, molasses/toffee, licorice. Nice cocoa aftertaste. Really sweet -- but it works well with the chocolate flavor.

Dark brown colour with light brown soflty head. You can smell all ingredients, quoted on the bottle: Cocoa, cane, chocolate. The same is flavour with nice chocolate aftertaste. Bitterness is low but is well balanced with maltiness. Good beer.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown with a tall tan head. The aroma was originally strongly milk chocolate but mellowed out with notes of roasted malts and vanilla. The taste is chocolate and a slightly note of burnt caramel, while the texture is creamy with a smooth finish. Very good.
