Chocolate bar nose. Large chocolate palate. Like drinking chocolate milk with alcohol. Not for everyone.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Shibolet home-brewery. Thanks Josh. Dark brown with a tan head. Great huge chocolate aroma. Sweet flavor with chocolate, some malt. Medium-bodied. Flavor isn’t as great as the aroma, but still good.

Kurze Review von Untappd: To sweet, to much chocolate and some smell and taste of vanillin. Kind of artifical... Not a stout for me.

Pours a dark chestnut brown color that appears pitch black in the glass with only faint mahogany edges. Two finger, frothy beige head that has great retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap/ring. Streaks of soapy lace left behind. Slightly roasted dark malt aroma with a strong, desert like chocolate presence bursting with cocoa, fudge and chocolate cake character. As it warms, the roast becomes more prominent with some toast and coffee bean but it still smells like pastry. There’s some hazelnut and toffee as well butbthe chocolate really stands out. Medium bodied with tight carbonation and a very nice balance of sweet and roasted malt notes. Strong lactose/creamy presence up front followed by fudge-y chocolate cake flavor, oatmeal, hazelnut and toffee. Not too sweet though with some roasted malt, burnt toast and espresso like flavor balancing things out. Very clean and easy to drink, excellently incorporating the chocolate without being overly sweet/gimmicky. Pretty damn good!

Sweet coca aroma with a sugary body with a smooth malt with a doughy yeast. Finish is slightly acidic.

Beige good hue, near black body with rosewood edge. Fine label. Coffee, roasted malts, loads of vanilla and milk chocolate to the nose. Tongue gets chocolate, toffee, dark malts, dark fruits, vanilla and finally a finish in chocolate n vanilla cream. On palate ok. Tasty brew. Sweet. [55cl brown bottle, abv5%, BB.aug2016. Black, black colored, strong pale tan creamy head with very nice lacing and mostly lasting. Aroma is of some caramel, strong chocolate and even more cocoa. Taste is medium+ sweet chocolate, bit sugar, cocoa nibs, dark chocolate with some cocoa bitterness. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. Better than excellent!
