3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours brown with off white head. Smell is sweet and chocolaty with a little bit of spice behind it. Reminds me of a chocolate cigarillo. Taste is sweet chocolate. Creamy, smooth body. Very good and much more drinkable than other more cloying chocolate beers.

550 ml bottle. Black, with a thick light tan head. Sweet aroma of chocolate and vanilla, some roasted malt. The flavour is sweet, with milk chocolate and vanilla, and some roasted notes in the finish. To my taste a bit too sugary and light-bodied, but still not bad.

Dark chocolate, sweet malt character. Flavor also has some raisin, molasses/toffee, licorice. Nice cocoa aftertaste. Really sweet -- but it works well with the chocolate flavor.
