A: Huge chocolate note. An acidity cuts trough giving a fruitiness to the chocolate backbone. Almost like low quality chocolate or so.
A: Pours thin and lackluster but the heat is creamy and very nice. In the glass it looks more bold than during the pour.
T: Taste is identical to the smell. Chocolate is a huge player and the subtle fruitiness comes through. What I like about this beer compared to other chocolate beers is it’s a more fruity chocolate than a bitter chocolate (which depends on where you grow your beans (I designed a chocolate factory.....)) Goes down easy.
P: Acidic on the palate but good flavor development. Medium body.
Overall this is a great beer. As mentioned before, this is different than other chocolate beers where it brings a more fruit note than a bitter note. Also nice to see a chocolate beer that is lower ABV. This was killer, and with the medium body this is a beer that beer lovers can love, but probably a good beer to convert people with. A must try.

I wanted to love this beer. On opening and pouring, it looks and smells great. the first sip is great, but somehow the chocolate and beer aren’t blended quite right. It’s definitely worth a try, but I found it fell short of first impressions.

Piwo z butelki 550 ml. Zapach wspaniały, czekolada. Piana niestety mało trfała. Piwo słabo nasycone, niska goryczka. Ale ta czekolada...
Ładny laceing . Przyjemnie pijalne.

550 ml bottle purchased 18 months ago at Beverage Warehouse while on a business trip to Los Angeles ($3.99). Pours an actual pitch black with two fingers of creamy brown foam. AROMA of quite delicious chocolate (leaning toward milk chocolate or perhaps chocolate milk), creamy vanilla, mild roast, and some cafe mocha. FLAVOR of creamy cocoa, heavy Hershey’s chocolate milk, moderately roasted malts, nice vanilla, and roasted nuts. Nicely sweet but far from cloying. Soft and creamy mouthfeel. Full of flavor and aroma without being high in ABV. Wow, really surprised by and impressed with this one! (723, 919)

My God, just imagine a milk chocolate for adults...... This is the embodiment of that. When enjoying this beer there is no need for a dessert, this is dessert!!! Such an enjoyable beer. Pours a rich dark black brown, with a fast rising frothy head that quickly disappears leaving some nice lacing. Ahhhhh, the aroma, what an aroma!!!!!!! Roasted malt, mocha, milk chocolate, black cherry, and vanilla. I almost can’t stop sniffing thus beer!!!!! So wonderful to smell! The taste is big on chocolate- sweet but not overly so, almost zero bitterness. The roasted malt flavor transfers to a sweet taste, such an amazing dynamic between aroma and taste rarely found in any beer. On the mouth this is an über creamy beer- low CO2, but super smooth finish. By far my favorite dessert beer. You could pair this with any number of chocolate desserts but the minimalist in me says, enjoy this alone or with a simple single source bar of chocolate. This is a sublime beer!!

Transfer from BA review on 4-27-14-
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown color with a one finger of tan colored head. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading to leave a moderate level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is quite heavy of a roasted malt with tons of milk chocolate and vanilla. Along with these aromas are some caramel smells as well as some hints of earth. Overall the smell is sweet, chocolaty and delicious.
Taste – The taste begins a huge sweet milk chocolate flavor mixed with a good dose of caramel and vanilla sweetness. Along with these flavors are others of a light roasted malt flavor. The roasted flavors fade a bit as the flavor advances with the cocoa flavors taking their place, getting very potent at the end. With an even greater intensification of the vanilla at the end of the taste it leaves on with a quite sweet and milk chocolaty flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side for a beer of only 5 % abv. with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. The combination of the slightly thicker body and lower carbonation are very nice for the milk chocolate flavors of the brew, giving it a more creamy dessert like feel.
Overall – A rather tasty and not overly alcoholic dessert beer. They pack lots of sweet milk chocolate flavor into the brew all while keeping it very drinkable overall.

Pours a typical dark Stout with a thick Mocha shaded head to match. Thick aroma of chocolate, coffee and taffy; almost Irish Cream like, with a following rich flavor that does not disappoint. Palate is unfortunately quite thin and requires additional sips to maintain the deep flavor of the first.
Highly recommended for those who want to try a Stout that isn’t very bitter or those not intimidated by an ale on the sweeter side. Should go incredibly well with chocolate souffle or roasted beef.
