COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

A: Huge chocolate note. An acidity cuts trough giving a fruitiness to the chocolate backbone. Almost like low quality chocolate or so. A: Pours thin and lackluster but the heat is creamy and very nice. In the glass it looks more bold than during the pour. T: Taste is identical to the smell. Chocolate is a huge player and the subtle fruitiness comes through. What I like about this beer compared to other chocolate beers is itís a more fruity chocolate than a bitter chocolate (which depends on where you grow your beans (I designed a chocolate factory.....)) Goes down easy. P: Acidic on the palate but good flavor development. Medium body. Overall this is a great beer. As mentioned before, this is different than other chocolate beers where it brings a more fruit note than a bitter note. Also nice to see a chocolate beer that is lower ABV. This was killer, and with the medium body this is a beer that beer lovers can love, but probably a good beer to convert people with. A must try.

Bottled. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of primary chocolate, slightly roeated malt, caramel and dark fruit notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and with a hint of bitterness. Medium bodied, oily to creamy texture and soft carb. A delicious and smooth stout.

550 ml bottle @ Kaisla, Helsinki. Pours a dark brown colour with a small head. Rich aroma of biscuit, chocolate and grass. Quite rich flavour of chocolate, cream, grassy bitterness and wooden notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Great.

550ml bottle @ Kaisla, Helsinki

Pours pitch black with a smooth white head. Aroma of cocoa powder, vanilla and roastiness. Taste is sweet, powdery and artificial with some vanilla and cocoa notes. Finish is sweet with notes of chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Okay, but a bit unbalanced.

Pours a dark brown. Aroma is sweet with hints of Carmel. Chocolate. Coffee. Taste is has a deep chocolate flavour that is quite nice. I'm getting some vanillia notes to as well as Carmel. Quite an enjoyable stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Where do I start? This was delicious. Poured dark. Smell was a lovely hot chocolate. The taste was almost as delicious and chocolatey.

Bottle. Chocolate but mostly tootsie roll aroma, tastes artificially sweet and almost exactly how it smells. Its actually surprising thatís it organic. It tastes totally artificial which detracts from the experience. Good but a little disappointing.

Pours a dark amber into black with a thin tan head. Gives off a chocolate/coffee mix smell after the beer has settled in the glass. First taste is of a mild coffee that finishes into a nice chocolate taste. Itís quite rich and it ends up being too much to down yourself. I recommend splitting into a couple of snifters and sharing it. Overall this is one for those non beer drinking coffee loving women.

Drank from a bottle at a bar. Very chocolaty, a bit too much actually. I recommend you share the bottle with someone.

Bottle poured into pint glass. Pours a dark clear brown with a big silky off white head. Aroma of milk chocolate. Tastes of sweet dense bread covered with a thick chocolate spread. A bit sweet but not terribly cloying.
