Ingredients: Water; Organic malted barley; Organic cane sugar; Yeast; Organic hops; Organic cocoa extract; Carbon dioxide
Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic cocoa extract impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish - this is a marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

A: Huge chocolate note. An acidity cuts trough giving a fruitiness to the chocolate backbone. Almost like low quality chocolate or so. A: Pours thin and lackluster but the heat is creamy and very nice. In the glass it looks more bold than during the pour. T: Taste is identical to the smell. Chocolate is a huge player and the subtle fruitiness comes through. What I like about this beer compared to other chocolate beers is it’s a more fruity chocolate than a bitter chocolate (which depends on where you grow your beans (I designed a chocolate factory.....)) Goes down easy. P: Acidic on the palate but good flavor development. Medium body. Overall this is a great beer. As mentioned before, this is different than other chocolate beers where it brings a more fruit note than a bitter note. Also nice to see a chocolate beer that is lower ABV. This was killer, and with the medium body this is a beer that beer lovers can love, but probably a good beer to convert people with. A must try.

Bottle from Foods Plus. Nice cocoa aroma. Color is a dark, rich mahogany--almost opaque with a nice, beige, lasting head, and fair lacing that doesn’t linger. Full, thick bodied with soft carbonation and a long finish. Taste was sweet as expected but had some harsh undertones like a liquor--not the decadent, dessert-like treat you’d expect from a chocolate stout. I can’t really say I enjoyed it.

Bottle from Utobeer, London. Pours a deep brown, near-black body with a medium light beige head. Nose is chocolate, vanilla, cocoa beans, hints of citric peel and almond essence. Taste is vanilla, cocoa, almonds, mild coconut and hints of muscovado and nuts. Light to medium body and carbonation. A bit too sweet and strange for me, but fair enough.

WYGLĄD: Barwa czarna z rubinowymi refleksami, nieprzejrzyste. Piana drobna, wysoka, dość trwała.
AROMAT: Cudny zapach czekolady. Kojarzący się z batonem "Bounty", czyli dużo kokosa, dużo kakao i dużo czekolady.
SMAK: Bardzo, bardzo intensywny Czekolada, kakao, lekka paloność, nuty kawowe. Posmak czekoladowo-kakaowy.

Aroma: Rich milk chocolate aromas. Appearance: Inky black with tan head. Taste: Heavy sweetness with hints of bitterness at the edges. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: A bit too rich and chocolatey, like drinking a glass of chocolate milk. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
