Pours bright yellow gold into an english pint. Bright white head quickly recedes to actively hug rim. Crisp, dry sour apple from front to back and back again.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2014 Bottle. 12/25/08.

A lovely straightforward cider, musty apple-cellar aroma,, plenty of apple skins and just a bit of funk in the flavor. Right on target in terms of sweetness -- not sugar at all -- basically a dry finish but with enough sweet in there to make it apple-y rather than champagne dry. I actually really like this one and could easily drink a lot more than the 6 ounces that I got to taste along with Christmas dinner. 7/3/8/4/15

Revisit 10/22/14. Not knowing anything about cider when I rated this originally (it had to be one of my very first cider ratings) I fear I afforded this more respect than it deserved. Quite a light pour, quickly disappearing white head. Apple and cheap white wine aroma, mild sweetness, apple of course but not intensely so. I donít really get the must or funk. Effervescent. Just OK.

Golden in color with a tiny white head. Aroma is well, full of apples. Flavor is lightly sweet apple with a tart, dry finish. Good.

Very clear golden, actually keeps some head, unusual for a cider. Aroma is tart apple, little else. Tastes lightly of slightly tart apple. Drinkable, perhaps not exciting, but nothing really wrong here either.

Bottle. Pours sparkling yellow with a fizzy white head. Tart apple aroma with some champagne. The flavor is tart apples with a light sweetness, also a bit of champagne. Decent.

Pours a dark gold colour with a quick fizz. Apple juice aroma and a sweet then tart apple flavour. More tart than sweet I thought. A light woody tone that combined with the carbonation reminded me a bit of gingerale. A fine cider.

Pretty decent by cider standards. The apple flavor comes through well in this cider and the flavor is of choice red apples. The carbonation is high and appropriate. Iíd recommend getting this one as cold as possible. The best cider Iíve had thus far.

Light gold color with a thin head. Aroma of apples and honey. The taste is very balanced between sweet and dry apples. Definitely has the sweet, almost honeyish apple taste, but finishes dry. Light taste of old oak.

Light golden color with a fizzy, diminished off-white head. A nice steady flow of bubbles drift to the surface to maintain the lid of bubbles. Smells like apple sauce. Some peel and hints of apricot and higher alcohols. Light clean feel. Mildly tart apple flavors in the front. Middle dries out with a champagne comparison and some dryness. Seems a touch thin in flavor at times with the dryness. The finish is very dry and the linger has a small return of apple peels and bit of grain. A straight forward, not overly complex cider.
