A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

Home Bottle - 55ml - For a lager very hoppy but its kept in check and this is no one trick pony, in fact its one of the best balenced beers you can have the good fortune of falling into. A must, never leave home without one, no make that two.

Bottle at Inamo. Golden lager, with small white head. A solid lager, more pilsener style than anything, clean fresh palate with pleasant hop finish.

Gorgeous golden lager coloring with consistently dense thick head. Aroma citrusy with some malt character. A bit hop-forward flavor up front for a lager, but tapers of to a smooth but acidy finish. Falls short of my expectations for any brew from this brewery. Too bitter/generally unpleasing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

550 ml. bottle. Pours a long duration white head, over a hazy, dark yellow (SRM 4) body....nose is cereal, biscuit, light hop....taste is cereal, leading to a gentle bitterness....mouth feel light, carbonation high. While this is an aromatic and flavorful example of the style, it still does not have much character or complexity to recommend it. BJCP 6/3/10/4/5

Pours pale godl with tons of visible effervescence, slight haze, strong head, and pretty lacing. Aroma is light barley, buttery bread, assertive hoppiness. Taste is light buttery bread, marshmallow, spicy hops, some astringent and chlorine-y off flavors probably from organic incredients. Body is medium, thin, lower than average carbonation, hoppy finish..Overall, this is definetly my favorite offering from Sam Smith’s so far. Well done lager.

Not quite bright, a sunny, medium gold with a fine and loose, snowhite pad atop. Grainy, damp haystack chaff on the nose with hints of kelp, Marmite, poppy and sunflower seeds, and honeydew flesh, strange! Chaff and gritty, cereal malt flavours dominate the mouth. Light cardboard and dusty hops in back before a watery thin and seemingly empty swallow. The body is flabby, cumbersome with mild carbonation. A tad yeasty, and oxidised, which raises a question of its age. One for a re-rate; a fresh sample!!! (55cL, no date stamp, Thirsty Camel, Butler)
