1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Clear yellow pour, a touch orange. Basically no head. Aroma is pretty skunky and doughy. Flavor is crisp and pretty clean. I just never like this malt flavor in such light beers. Whether thereís corn in there or not, thatís all I taste. Other than the skunk, which I canít really blame the brewer for in this case, thereís no real off flavors. I guess this is about as cleanly as you can pull the style off. Even so, maybe it could offer something more than this. Just a slight wash of hops in the back for balance, just enough to clean the malt off the tongue in the finish, but not enough to really enjoy. I donít care for the style, but I think it can still be done better than this.

"good organic beer...consistently good, a feat in itself. i like the organic ale just a touch better, but they are both quite enjoyable. this one is just a touch more bitter and lighter in color."

Half-pint (Keg) in the Cittie of Yorke, Holborn on 12th Sep 2014. Not as sweet as itís brothers (Double Four and Taddy Lager), this golden brew has more hop flavour and aromas within itís make up. The extra bit of ABV also seemed to set it apart from the other two lagers I drank along side this during my little tasting session. The best of the three by a long way in my opinion.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: grains, cereal, bread malts. Appearance: clear gold, medium frothy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: malty sweets again, but indeed, notes of floral hops. Overall: actually quite a nice Lager, very nice aroma and palate for this style. Bottle from Whole Foods Market, Kensington.
