Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pasteurised
A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

Bottled: Wanted a bit more from this beer! Pours a golden colro with a head that disapears to a white lacing. Smells of malts and tastes of sweet malts with hints of fruits.

Clear golden yellow, thin, smooth, spicey, citrus, little bready, slight hop finish.

Samuel Smiths Organic Lager is a very clear, sparkling, golden beer with a thick, pillowy white head that leaves nice lacing. It has a faint, peppery aroma. I has a smooth medium-light body with a pretty crisp finish. It’s a mellow flavor: a little corny and a little spicy. It tastes clean. There’s nothing really stand-out here. It’s pretty plain, but very chuggable.

Bottled 355ml. It pours a golden beer with a decent head. The nose is mainly of vegetables and lemon - kind of spicy. Mediocre taste. Metallic, slightly salty with a lot of vegetables showing up. Buttery with hints of crackers. Poor lacing. Bitterish finish. It reminds me of a cheap lager. Pretty bad.

A better lager than most, but still nothing to write home about. Watery, pale, and without much flavor, I’m left unimpressed.

Pours a bright golden colour with a fairly large white head. aroma is a little grainy, and at times a little yeasty as well. initial malted taste followed up by a stale hop flavor. fulfilling on the palate, plenty of carbonation but just not enough flavor for me.
