Bottle: Pasteurised
A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

12 oz bottle. Pours a yellow straw. Tall fluffy off-white head that clings to the glass. Crisp floral and sharp malty aroma. Very refreshing initially with a distinct hop bitterness and light crisp malts. Body is fairly light. Medium lively carbonation. Hints of citrus, a little reminiscent of lime. Tastes very fresh. Not a "trendy" beer as I expected. This has an "old fashioned taste". Very nice.

12 ounce bottle. Very nice clean lager aroma and taste. If you have a few extra bucks to spare and want a lager, this is your choice.

It is alright. Nice beery aroma and a descent taste. Left a bit of a funky taste though.

Bottle @ home. Pours with a pale gold clear colour, small frothy white head. Aroma is mdium malty, with notes of bread, and slightly hoppy, with some notes of hay; not very intense. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. An ok lager, but nothing really special.

Reminds me of a nice German helles lager, very much cereal grains, but full of flavor. Tends to the sweet side, with a bit of bitter dryness at the end. The way lagers should be done.

Good beer. More of a honeyish malt flavor than most lagers. The hops taste different too, more like the hops used in ales.

Very light smell almost none, taste is unique, slightly fruity but dissipates quickly...smooth

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a fair head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel with grain and bit of fruit. Taste of malt sweetness, caramel and grain. Mild bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Fairly light body, quite smooth with a bit of a malty feel. Bit above the typical lager.

Aroma: English hops meet the nose first; lemony and slightly floral. For me, the malts set this apart; it has that slightly honeyed quality that reminds me of Czech malts. Appearance: Slightly tinted, mostly still gold pour with a foamy white head that settles into a healthy skin. Flavor: Honey cereal with touches of lemon, especially toward the finish, which is lightly bitter/semi dry. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, lightly bitter finish. Overall: England’s answer to Pilsner Urquell? Maybe I go too far, but I thought this was very nice. Would be a regular customer if this came in competitively priced six packs (or, heaven forbid, cans).
