Purple color with a frothy pinkish head, a nice addition for a fruit ale. Aroma is raspberry malt. Flavor has a malty rasberry backbone a a good sprity bite and bitterness. Very good.

Raspberry in your face! I can’t say I’m a fan. The aroma and flavor are completly overpowered by the fruit. Very, very sweet and acidic.

Bottle. Rich reddish beer with a pink head. Nice raspberry aroma. Big raspberry flavor with malt backing. Medium bodied. Big raspberry lingers with backing malt.

Ruby in color with an average light pink head. Aroma is of raspberry candy, light tartness. Taste is raspberry, sweet , light cranberry.

Bottle. The look is clear, red in color, and has a pink head. The smell is fruit punch, raspberry, straightforward. Sweet. The taste is fruit, touch of tang, raspberry.

Pours dark red color with a small pink head. Aroma of berries, juice, some grass and fruits. Flavor of juicy berries, fruits, sugar and grass. Too sweet.

Red pour with pink head. Beer head should not be pink. Aroma is sweet raspberry and malt. Taste is the same, but throws in some sour. Nice, but too sweet for me.

Bottle at the Brass Tap pours a reddish color with aromas of sweet raspberries. Flavors are light grain and some tart raspberries.

Even further away from beer than the SS Cherry. Easy to drink but the raspberry is over-embellished.

Smells lovely, just not like beer. My favourite smell is probably thyme, but I wouldn’t want beer to smell like thyme (I think). So should I score this highly because it smells nice just not of beer? I don’t actually care what you think, I’ve gone for 8. Tastes of.... raspberries. Go figure.
