COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised;
Also known as Organic Raspberry Handcrafted Fruit Ale
A product of England this is an ale brewed with raspberry juice and natural flavours added. Brewed at All Saints in Stamford Lincolnshire and blended and bottled at Samuel Smithís Brewery. The finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation. This beer is blended with pure organic raspberry fruit juice and a previously cellared brew creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

550 ml bottle. Pours a dark jammy red with moderate pink head that settles quickly. Aromas of raspberry and strawberry jam. Follows through with a similar thick raspberry flavor. I donít know if this is a beer or a fruit drink - but itís enjoyable.

Poured from 550mL bottle. Medium dark red with pink head. Aroma of actual fresh raspberries, no concentrate noticeable whatsoever like most other raspberry beers. Taste does seem to have a little extra sweetness added, but it still gets that sweet and tart nature of raspberries to show through. Medium body, finish a little on the shorter end of things. Definitely one of my top fruit beers.

Quite wonderful aroma, appearance, and flavor. A truly fruity delight that has an appropriate medium tartness.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket Liquor Fort Collins. Pours a hazy plum appearances with an off white / a touch pinkish head. Juicy, tart, raspberry / cranberry, slightly sweet aroma. Somewhat goopy, raspberry purťe, plum, tart berry, soda-like flavor. Best of the fruit renditions Iíve had by Samuel Smith. Pretty good.

No fruit extract here! Samuel Smithís Organic Raspberry takes the natural approach without any shortcuts. And I must say, the difference is clear. The raspberry taste in this beer is simply awesome. Itís a bit tart but it also has a lot of rich sweetness without being overbearing. Admittedly these beers usually arenít my thing, but Samuel Smithís take on the style is expertly done.

Bottle; poured a ruby type color with a whitish head that has a touch of pink. Aroma of raspberry yeast, wheat, barley and must. Flavor was sweet with raspberry predominantly. Some caramel and sweet malt notes. A bit too sweet at first, but opens up well.

Bright red with tall foamy pink head. Raspberry jam aroma. Taste is rich raspberry. Mostly sweet but a bit of tartness balances it. Awesome flavor but only for a dessert ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2012 bottle: very fruity and sweet. Smooth overall but it made me think of drinking something other than beer. Not my type. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Fresh raspberries, not overly tart and not overly sweet; maybe a touch of mint. The base beer is completely masked. Appearance: Nearly opaque raspberry red with a pink tinted head. Flavor: Raspberry with some slight tartness; doesnít seem to be sweetened. Simple and pure. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: Simple, clean fruit beer thatís worth a try.
