A product of England this is an ale brewed with raspberry juice and natural flavours added. Brewed at All Saints in Stamford Lincolnshire and blended and bottled at Samuel Smithís Brewery. The finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation. Slightly hazed red pour with a fluffy white head and lace. Huge raspberry and thatís all. Sour start to a nice raspberry flavor. Thin and foamy. A fun drinking beer that tastes as good as it smells.

Pours red with a large pink head. Sweet aroma of raspberry. Good raspberry flavor, although slightly artificial tasting. A little thin, but pretty decent fruit beer.

Bottle from Centurion Vintners, Stroud. Red in colour with a momentary pinkish-white head. Strong raspberry and cherry fruit aroma with accompanying sweetness. Flavour had bucketloads of sweet raspberry fruit, before a hint of dryness in the finish. Ok.

This dark red beer poured into a flute with a modest pink head and an intense raspberry aroma. If you like raspberries, itís pretty good, since thatís about all you can taste. Itís refreshing and tasty, but itís not really beer.

Sampled at Lithyís Septemberfest Tasting. Pours a beautiful clear red, with pink head. Nose of fake tart muted raspberries. Flavor is sweet raspberries that finish tart. Much better than the strawberry. Like lindemans.

550 ml bottle from the Utah State Store. Pours a bright red color with a large pinkish head and some nice lacing. The aroma is very nice; loads of sweet and tart berries, some sugary notes as well. The flavor is very nice; smooth and creamy, lots of tart raspberries and sweetness, like berry juice and quite natural. Has a fizzy tart feeling on the palate in the finish that is quite nice. Easy to drink and refreshing. Very nice.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2009 Bottle from The Party Source. Pours cloudy purple with off white/pinkish head. Aroma of raspberry, sweet and a little tart. The flavor follows suit. Could use more body, as the palate is pretty thin. Finishes a lot like it starts, albeit with a little more tartness. For Sam Smith, Iíd rank this one between the strawberry and cherry versions.

Aromas of raspberry preserves and the flvors follow suite with the aromas. Enjoyable and easy drinking.
