Scent is overwhelmingly ripe raspberry which leads into the taste...raspberry with just a bit of bitter ale bite on the aftertaste. Love the tartness of the raspberry, balances out the ale beautifully. This is how a fruit beer is done

A must have for anyone who’s into fruit beer. Best tasting I’ve ever had. Subtle raspberry flavour, creamy suds, a good balance of bitterness. Another great beet from Sam Smith!

Poured deep ruby red with a sizeable pink head. Lovely pungent nose of fresh raspberries. Quite intense. Slightly hazy with light carbonation. Sweet taste heavy on the raspberries, which is good. A slightly bitter finish but not unpleasant. VERY drinkable. I could have chugged mine but held off. Medium body and a slightly creamy texture. Overall one of the best fruit beers I have ever had, pints down.

hazy deep purple with a large frothy light pink head. very similar appearance to the cherry. amazing raspberry and flower aroma with a distinct spicy herbalness. a floral, caramel, raspberry flavor with toasted malt finish. some hints of milk chocolate too. there something hugely appealing about this beer. I can’t quite nail it down though. the caramel flavors mid palate?, milk chocolate?, the sweetness?, the flowery hints in the finish? everything perfectly infused with lush ripe raspberries. i never thought a fruit beer could be this good. wow! I’m a fan.

I’m a huge fan of raspberries, so naturally I got stoked to try this beer. And I certainly wasn’t disappointed. First, it’s a hell of a lot better than the Organic Strawberry. This is like night and day. This Organic Raspberry is so much better. I was first impressed after popping the cap and starting to pour the beer into my glass. I love the dark reddish color of the beer, with a small, but beautiful dark pink head. The head doesn’t leave much lacing around the glass though. The nose is full of raspberries, with some hints of yeast and a slight note of dry red grapes. The body is bubbly, but not overcarbonated. It’s very comparable to a sparkling wine. The flavors are obviously dominated by the raspberries, but also include some grass, yeast and grapes. The finish is very sweet and fruity. I could definitely see myself pouring some of this over a huge slice of cheesecake. The Organic Raspberry is definitely one delicious beer!

Very delightful raspberry ale. Has a bit of a funny smell at first but the taste more than makes up for it. One of the better raspberry fruit beers.

This was about what I expected, but probably a bit better. Delicious raspberry aroma. A cloudy maroon color. Sweet and a bit sour. The raspberry flavor is good, not too overwhelming.

Bottle: Poured a deep red color ale with a large pinkish color foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of fresh sweet raspberries is quite refreshing and totally dominated the aroma. Taste is also dominated by huge aroma of pure raspberry juice with light tart notes and dry malt base that is not able to come out of the fruit base. Body is abut average for style with good carbonation. I must admit that this was quite well made with loads of raspberries and no fake syrup taste. Remind me of when I had fresh raspberry juice at my grand-mother place 15-20 years ago.

Cloudy ruby red complexion with small carbonation and slight bubbly pinkish head. Raspberry, apple and cherry to the nose with notes of vanilla and cedar. flavor is sweet, tart and deliciously dry finish. mouthfeel is lightly effervescent and lively, leaving a medium lasting tart aftertaste. Delicious brew. Thank you Samuel Smith.
