COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lager’s flavour, purity and condition.

I’m not big on lagers, but this is one of the best I’ve had. Can’t describe it, but it has that distinct flavor that I also find in Dead Guy & Heineken--only less so. This is probably my favorite lager so far.

From WholeFoods? Quite a nice lager. Easily on par with continental examples. Serving: bottle

550 ml bottle. Clear pale straw yellow, bright white creamy head lasts. Mild grainy hay aroma. Clean fresh grassy lager malt taste, some citrus, faintly bitter. Average carbonation, crisp light organically thin bodied, low hopped. Nice. TLF (Totally Lagerboy Friendly)

Very clear and bright golden. Nose of hay and light malts. Flavor follows the same as the nose and finishes with a slight hop bitterness. Good for washing down pizza.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket Liquor Fort Collins. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a nice white head. Corn, chewy grain, cooked veggie aroma. A bit twangy, chewy celery, corn, cracker flavor. Not good.

Agradable lager sin voluntad de impactar, no tiene un aroma intenso y en boca es suave y agradable, espumosa, cremosa, punto freso de lúpulo lejano, una lager para tener a mano y disfrutar

Bottle into half pint glass. Golden color, thick white head but dissipates quickly. Nose of light biscuit. In the mouth a bit thin, mostly light hops. Finishes with cereal. Average.

Bottled and drunk from an English dimpled pint mug. Wonderful sweet, slightly tart citrus flavour with a warm and cozy malt background. A truly outstanding lager and a new favourite of mine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355 ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cider in Yuen Long.

Clear light golden honey colour; One finger head and crumpety white foam which lasted for 1 minute; Good sticky lacing with active soft carbonation; Quite pungent aroma of full malt, with bread, light apricot, paper, lemon and light grass; Light sweet taste of light malt, with lemon and lime, faint grapefruit, light bread, notes of cardboard, light liquorices and grassy hops; Mid to light body, slick palate; Taste profile is a stepped-down Premium Lager. Full malt is rather light, with soggy bread, yet citrus lime taste is very prominent; Grapefruit is only a shade, and some notes of cardboard show up from time to time; Hoppiness is strong lemon and grassy nose and taste. Liquorices is moderate and becomes evident with further sips for a mid-to-low astringent finish; Quite dry after taste, lemony and bitter to mouth.

Comments: Organic doesn’t necessary mean greatness, and this is one of those ‘not really greats’ - lager malt is rather thin, some papery nose and taste, and a not-so-dynamic palate – it’s drinkable but not really exciting, and it’s about the same price as a quality Tripel or BSA, which I much rather to have than this.
